Neil deGrasse Tyson is really starting to scare conservatives...

I love the comment about Seth McFarlane's "deal" with Fox.

1. Free market, baby
It's too bad so many conservatives are afraid of the real free market of ideas.

And yet the show is turning into a ratings flop.
So why would we be scared of Tyson or the free market?

Who?
-
Who?
Some guy who thinks he gets to say who can and cannot debate which subjects so as to best preserve the fundamental freedoms of SCIENCE!

Ah. AKA: Another DUmbass that doesn't exist in my universe.

This whole "right wing panic" over the show Cosmos is a straw man.
Most Conservatives understand science, including The Theory of Evolution. There are a very loud minority that do not.
-
So scared of it that only the Primitives are watching it:
Cosmos Craters (http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2014/03/17/tv-ratings-sunday-resurrection-the-mentalist-revenge-down-believe-tumbles-mediocre-premiere-for-crisis/245084/)

That's about the extent of it . . .

Eh...I watched the first show out of curiosity, it had some nice bells and whistles but it was mostly cribbed from the old series.
The entire calendar thing was stolen from the old series, if one would have watched the old Cosmos marathon just prior one would have noticed that.
I don't understand why Neil, a supposedly noteworthy astrophysicist, would have an outspoken opinion on AGW...(I don't debate deniers).
Well of course you don't, your not a climatologist, why would a climatologist be inclined to debate you.

This goes hand in hand with DUmmie's getting all lathered up about "The Daily Show" being a "real" news show and how us Rethugs are now screwed with the "truth".
DUmmies, I don't give a rats ass about ANY of those shows. GO POUND SAND.
-
When I first saw Tyson doing a "science" show on TV, I thought, "Ah, just another affirmative action 'astrophysicist'."
He's full of all the shit the profs throw out in the kollege classrooms. He gobbled it all up, and learned how to perform on TV.

Ho hum. Turning tide. Legs. Toast. Zzzzzz

Thankfully Doug Bulna has not been around so I still have my remote.

1. Free market, baby
This from the people who hate the very idea of the free market.
Stop. Hurt. Sides. Laughing.

It's especially ironic since Tyson believes that people "speaking truth to power" about global warming should be denied the right to air their views in the media.

So scared of it sent me running to a molecular cloning laboratory manual to hide from it.

The free market?? This show is bombing in the ratings. The free market dictates that it will be canceled soon.

What's that?
This insignificant poofter (that doesn't exist in my universe) has a "tee vee" show (how the **** did that happen?) that claims to be "science" ("settled science", I'm sure :whatever: ) and (predictably) is only being watched by the other petri-dish shallow, like-minded (and I use the term extraordinarily loosely) DUmbasses in the echo chamber, and thus may not be cluttering the public airwaves for long?
The only downside I see, is that this poofter is keeping the other DUmbasses from "taking it to the streets", and thus providing targets to take down. :devious: :killemall:

The last time Dummies took to the streets, they crapped all over themselves, they did drugs, and they raped each other... all to the beating drums of worthless hippies. Hail Occupy !!!

Yeah, like when universities, those paragons of the Free Market of Ideas :whatever: ban Conservative student speech :thatsright: , Conservative speakers :thatsright: , lefty rags refuse contrary arguments :thatsright: ....
Afraid, like that?
-
Sorry DUmmies a stupid tee vee show won't cause people to abandon God.

Indeed. It's no different from how the DUmmies insisted that "Right wingers" were in a panic over the cereal commercial that featured an interracial couple, when in real life nobody from either side of the political spectrum had any kind of an issue with that commercial.
If the DUmmies can't find that conservatives are outraged over something, they'll simply claim conservatives are outraged about it without providing any proof.

Oh, that's right, there WAS such a commercial. Gee, that seems like a million years ago. I thought we were supposed to be rioting or something?

To the lurking DUmshites, I NEVER NOTICED until you racists pointed it out.

Just self-fellating their "mental superiority" here..they haven't the foggiest of what particle physics entails...
