19. Too funny.
All of the talk about the website and this generates a 405 spike. Kind of says something about the original marketing plan. Also says something about the power of a President vs that of a comedian with respect to marketing. Too funny. I laughed so hard at the video.
I think that the 405 is a typo from a shift 5 to get a percent sign..

Now, the Department of Health and Human Services is reporting that its number one source of referrals garnered 19,000 clicks through to HealthCare.gov.
Expressing things in percentage terms sounds like really big numbers but if you are going to do that then you really don't want to release any actual click counts to go along with your percentage.
Little bit of back of envelope math: 40% increase = 19K clicks. Please determine average number of clicks prior to increase:
48K clicks per day plus 40% = 67.2K clicks
67.2K - 48K = 19.2K
Average daily traffic ~ 48K clicks. If you are still lacking ~2M signups and you want them by the end of March (18 days from today) you really need a run rate of 111K clicks per day and that assumes that every click leads to a paying enrollment. I would not be willing to stake my bonus on those numbers...

The wife has a friend that has been trying to get into Obamacare for 2 weeks now. Actually she's been trying for 2 months but she's spent hours each day for the last 2 weeks on her computer or the telephone with no luck so far. She was put on hold several times in several different departments when she called in one day for a total of over 3 hours before being given the same number she originally called.

I thought parts of it were, but only because it made Obama look like the idiot he is. The whole thing was scripted, yet I've seen funnier bits written by high school kids.

Those clicks don't mean shit. Hathcock and I had to check the prices for our boss the other day so he could decide what to do about our insurance. The cheapest, most comparable plan was 450 dollars a damn month and a 1000 deductible for me, his was well over 1500 for his family. I pay 42 bucks a pay period and a 500 dollar deductible right now. I seriously doubt my boss's part makes up the difference it would take to get to 450 per month. All it is is taking MY money to use to cover the parasites that get ****ing subsidies, that those stupid mofos think is "free". Not to mention a ton of doctors are coming out in droves saying they won't accept it.
