I saw this woman smoking with her kid next to her.
this morning on my way to a computer science class I saw this woman and her kid, who looked like she was 7 or 8, and the woman was smoking a cigarette.
If you've seen my posts about smoking you know i HATE second hand smoke. But with a kid walking next to you? My first thought I admit was, "take away her children", but i just walked away from the two. I had all sorts of project and midterms upcoming and don't have time for a big confrontation.
now that I reconsider my thoughts, I wonder if it's really worth ruining their lives simply because the woman smoked with her kid next to her? if it's illegal for parents to smoke with a kid in the car why not also in ANY place?
Nazi.

That has to be satire.

You'd think so, but Limbaugh runs into this problem all the time. Every time he tries to illustrate the absurdity of a leftist position by taking that position to it's absurdest extreme, sooner or later, he discovers the leftists have in all seriousness taken that position to the same absurd extreme.
I truly believe this jack-booted bitch is completely earnest in her professed desires.

I've had it happen to me. 40 acre field, 30 mph wind and I'm down wind of everyone and some red eyed, dilated pupils, S.O.B. shouts, "Do you mind not smoking around me...cough...cough". I shout back, "I don't mind at all. If I did, I wouldn't have light the damn thing...puff...puff."

I rarely smoke in my house. Prefer not to have the stale smoke smell and it's better for me to get up and outside as often as possible, I think.
But, a few months ago I took on a project to help someone and it was a real pain. Lots of computer time and some aggravation. The helpee was over, saw me light up and said, "You really shouldn't smoke in your house." I responded, "I really shouldn't have offered to do this for you. As to the smoking... It's my house." We both got through it.

For practically my entire life, I have worked around smokers, inhaling "second-hand smoke", hell, my wife was a smoker when we married!
I'm still alive and kicking, DUmbasses! :bigbird:
Now, about this Gorebull Warming...

I'm not a smoker. I don't like the smell of cigarette on my clothing, but I'm not getting in anyone's face about it.
I also do not believe the second hand smoke bullshit, and here's why:

I wonder if the DUmmy would have objected if the woman were smoking pot......
My Grandad smoked and drank all his life, and died at 90. My Dad smoked and drank all his life, and died at 91. I've smoked and drank all my life, and I'm 75.

As you might expect, it's an enormous thread. She eventually removed it. Glad we saved it.
This made me laugh:

See there, smoking killed him.

My dad DIDN'T smoke, DIDN'T drink, and died at 66.
He was a diabetic, though.
-
Yeah, my dad had no vice whatsoever except for one beer per night. Just one. Gone at 56, God bless him.

I wouldn't exactly call one beer a night a vice. Nothing like a good cold beer after a long day.
