Just something of interest
you know how much we are not interested in actual war? CNN right now is covering that other great event, THE OSCARS.
I turned to them since we have an international crisis. Things that make you go hmmm. But of course the dresses. we all need to know about the dresses, and the red carpet... now that is what I call (in this environment) distraction news.

1. Personally, I find "holier than thou" diatribes tiring...
If your view is that we can't enjoy anything until all social, economic and geopolitical issues are addressed, you must lead a dull life.
As dull as a scanner, a rig and a house full of caged birds can get ya mistah!

2. ...
Usually when you have an international crisis and you run a news service, you do tend to break into breaking news. But we no longer have news services. It is noted.
I just noted that.
Now if you think that the Oscars are more important than a possible crisis, do carry on.
For the record, we have plenty of entertainment channel, so if you want to watch the Oscars, none is holding you back assuming CNN broke into actual breaking news. They claim to be a news channel after all.
No, this is actually quite indicative of how much we really are not interested in a war. Mind you that is a good thing.
By the way, please proceed
Nads knows how to run a news service.

4. Oh and one last thing
I just went back to what I was watching, the Science Channel I have zero interest in the Oscars, but a good science documentary on astro physics, I am there.
Nads is soooooo there.

6. The programming choice, given where we are
seemed jarring.
That is all.
This will be the great war of words of 2014 most likely. We could have McCain in the WH, and we would not be going to war, I don't care how much posturing the RW screeches. It has nothing to do with perceived or weakness. Ukraine is by the border of another nuclear power.
Nads knows GOP foreign policy...

10. Are you the programming director for CNN? The PLACE FOR NEWS?
Did not think you were. You can watch the Oscars, I am sure in the ENTERTAINMENT MEDIA.
Nads knows the entertainment media.

12. Nope, but struck me odd that a CHANNEL THAT SELLS ITSELF
as the place for breaking news was not.
Now E-News or Entertainment Tonight doing Syria or Russia or even disaster news would strike me as odd.
So the fact that they are not tells me that likely this is not considered really a crisis, in spite of all the posturing.
Now none is stopping you from watching the Red Carpet. Me, changed the channel to SOMETHING ELSE. I do not care about the Oscars. Just like I kept changing the channel away from MSNBC during the Olympic coverage.
Nads doesn't care about the Oscars... so much so that she created a thread to demonstrate how much she doesn't care, while watching a fine documentary on astro physics.

15. Could be, just could be, there ain't no breaking news to report in Ukraine because it's....
2 o'clock in the morning. I could be wrong
Now Brother Buzz, you know you are on the ignore list right?

Doesn't she have a scanner for that sort of thing? Jesus, Nads, just pretend there was an earthquake there, and spend the money on a HAM radio.

Not a chance. The nutcase is saving up her dough for a membership in Hair Club For Men.

Bread and circuses, Nadin. Surely a lib bitch like you would know that already. Keep reporting about a brush fire near San Diego and posting that in LBN or GD.

nads was the inspiration for Maya Angelou...I know why the caged bird sings.

She self deleted that one and several others because of the bullies. Looks like she's having her monthly meltdown.

I just had a meltdown after viewing that pic of her looking at me through her computer screen. Mercy!

It is amazing to me that every byte of porn on the internet - which by now must be measured in petabytes - is utterly annihilated by that one picture. Behold, the killer of all boners.

I'm sure if you held them just the right way, her glasses would be strong enough to see Saturn's rings.

Very unsettling.

I bet she yells at little kids when they play in the park for not watching the knews and caring about what's going on in the world.

Funny...I watched the Science channel last night...and there was no astro physics on that channel. It was NASA's Unexplained files (I don't believe in them; but shows like this are one of my guilty pleasures).
