Court upholds inmate’s right to sex change

A federal appeals court in Boston today upheld a judge’s ruling that a transsexual inmate convicted of murder is entitled to a taxpayer-funded sex change operation as treatment for her severe gender identity disorder.

“Having carefully considered the relevant law and the extensive factual record, we affirm the judgment of the district court,” a three-judge panel of the US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit wrote, in a ruling that was a first of its kind.

The court ruled in the case of convicted wife killer Michelle L. Kosilek. As Robert Kosilek, he strangled his wife, Cheryl, in Mansfield in 1990 and dumped her body in a car at a mall in North Attleborough.

The court ruled 2-1. Its decision can be appealed to the full appeals court or to the US Supreme Court.

1. It is a shame this is not a remedy afforded enough of us transgendered

women and men in the United States. It should be covered in many health insurance plans and or be more affordable.

Okay, after reading more of the defrocked warped primitive, this is additional.

Ms. Hindenberg is self-admittedly 63, 64 years old, short, "big-boned," and hirsute.

Based upon the way she "paints" her self-portrait with words, she looks kind of like a combination of Paul von Hindenberg and Gertrude Stein, above.

This is Hildegard Radusch, a prominent German Communist who went into hiding during the socialist Nazi regime.  No disparagement of her character; it must've been rough, and her life was probably on the line several times, as she unlike the other socialists, remained in Germany all this time.

Gets weirder and weirder every morning when I get out of bed and check the news.

Here is a male who kills his wife and now after time in prison wants to become the same sex his wife was.   

Do we tax payers give a damn what he wants for any reason as long as he is incarcerated   to be kept out of the public , he is fed, clothed and has medical care, but darn what ever is his agenda is his problem, not the tax payers.

So, the problem of where to put him arises, best bet is solidary confinement as he has no where to go.  Cannot go to a woman's prison DNA shows he is a male.     Cannot go to a males prison, anyone with female parts is ripe for rape from other convicts and even some guards.

I say tell this convict he can become a woman if he wishes but, he will have to be in solidary confinement for life for his own good.   Then see how the prisoner reacts to that, may well decide to leave well enough alone and except his fate for being born a male.
