D. Patrick takes 8th in Daytona 500.
J. Johnson wins.
Patrick was in 3rd on final lap when Johnson went to the low groove with a "second train," and pushed past the then-leaders. Patrick said she didn't try the same move for fear of being "freight-trained," but with no one behind her to form a draft. Her 8th place makes her the highest finishing woman in 500 herstory.

Petty's statement about Danica is correct; the only way she could win at Daytona is if she was the only one on the track.Micheal Waltrip was making a fast TV commentary walk up through the drivers greeting them and exchanging a few words with or making a comment about each one as he went. When he went past Danica he told her to hurry up and join him at the back of the pack...... :lmao:
Would like to see him race her.

He didn't slow down long enough for her to get her cat claws out..... :lmao:
Don't we have rules? If not, I propose one now...

Don't we have rules? If not, I propose one now...I thought that particular rule only applied to Helen Thomas.
