you'd let conservatives prevail. And by conservatives I mean real conservatives; not these corporatist, establishment GOP rat bastards.
You keep complaining about people voting against their best interests (we know that's just Proglodyte code-speak for your resentment of consensual government) but it is you who don't know a good deal when you're presented with one.
You keep talking about all your quaint socialist fantasies like communal medicine and cooperative factories. Nothing in the conservative ideal of politics is threatened by these ideas. If that's how you want to work and that's how you want to spend your money then knock yourselves out. Hell, we'll even wish you the best of luck.
You, on the other hand, are threatened by people living their lives as they see fit. While a free market has no issue with communal concerns in its midst no socialist hell hole has ever managed to allow people to opt for Brand X.
But if you persist in this insane fantasy of yours -- thinking that you can centralize all political and economic power -- then remember this:
WE are the producers; the ones you continually accuse of being too rich, too warlike and too powerful.
YOU constantly claim you are the helpless victims that cannot support yourselves.
You need us more than we will ever need -- or want -- you.
If you know what's good for you, you will not destroy the one thing we desire: freedom; because once it is gone we will come back after you with a vengeance. If this is a world to be governed by masters and servants than you had better realize we will not content ourselves being servants.
Wanna call our bluff?

Every society that the DUmmies idolize fails for one simple reason. They run out of other peoples money. Their first concern should always be to let people earn and keep most of the money they earn. Encourage and assist people and companies to make money. Broadening the tax base is the only way to keep expanding the social safety net they desire and crave.

^^^that.

Give them hell Sarge! The one thing that pisses me off the most is the idiots telling me I am voting against my best interests. Like I am a child... when these fools at the dump cannot seem to provide for themselves. Pisses me off.
H5!!!!

Beware the law of unintended consequences, DUmmies. You can be tried, convicted and sentenced by it, both in the judgment of history, and in real time. And it can apply on on the individual level (ask dainbramaged) or on a more collective level (King George the third ring a bell?).

They simply cannot believe that we don't wish to vote for crumbs.

To be doled out to us by the likes of Barry, Nancy, and Harry.

If they really believed in all that, wouldn't they have already pooled their assets and resources and made it happen?
There should be communal towns and industries all over the country by now.

Exactly.
But they'll tell you its all Wal-Mart's fault.

They want to pool someone else's resources, then take over.

That's because if you pool all DUmmies' resources, you'd have about $3.47, 556 kilos of pot, 683 different kinds of prescription meds, and 12,428 cases of Cheetos

Conservatives that don't like guns don't buy guns.
Leftist DUchebags that don't like guns force people not to buy guns.

First of all, the DUmmies don't have the financial where-with-all to set up a commune, and secondly, they don't have the necessary skill sets to keep it functioning. They're the idiots that have to ask how to breathe.
