The IRS and DOJ will be all over your ass.

Some lawmakers, though, have claimed that the mere threat of the employer mandate is causing companies to shed full-time workers in the hope of keeping their staff size below 50 and avoiding the requirement.
Administration officials dispute that this is happening on any large scale. Further, Treasury officials said Monday that businesses will be told to “certify†that they are not shedding full-time workers simply to avoid the mandate. Officials said employers will be told to sign a “self-attestation†on their tax forms affirming this, under penalty of perjury.

Labor lie...er lawyers will get a windfall. Every newly laid off worker, whatever the reason, is gonna sue.
-
How is an employer going to know down the road if he can keep all his employees or not? This can't be legal.
-
If it can't be legal, it came from rodeowebuma.

If they can do this, then what is to stop them from doing the same thing if they do pass a higher minimum wage?

But this wasn't passed into law. Obama waved his magic wand and made it happen. He has made 29 changes to the ACA since it was passed in congress.

Exactly. If they can prevent layoffs for something that isn't a law, then they will do it for something that is a law. (assuming minimum wage increase gets passed)

I understand this to be a condition for businesses who accept the offer to delay the employer mandate.

What a ****ing joke.
Justice, Treasury and the IRS are going to insist on a statement, under penalty of perjury, that companies aren't shitcanning people because of Barrycare?
When the Head Liar himself in the White House can't open his cock holster long enough to tell anything BUT a fabrication, companies are actually going to pay attention to that threat?
:orly: :bwah:

Never mind the fact that Il Douche will be having the Justice :rotf: Department and the IRS crawling up EVERY business' ass with a microscope, regardless of what they've sworn on a stack of Q'urans under penalty of perjury. The faulty logic everybody is ignoring is that DOJ and IRS aren't being used as political bludgeons by the Regime.

The first thing that will be checked is if the business and owners donated to Barry's election campaigns. Tose the di will get a pass.

unbelievable.... this CAN'T be legal!!

If you think that's bad, you should check out the immigration changes in the ACA bill as well.

We should require her dresses be made from old salvage parachutes.

Calm down people. This doesn't apply to all businesses, just the businesses who have between 50 and 99 employees and who want to apply for an extra year delay in the employer mandate. They are being asked to state that they didn't fire anyone in order to get under the 99 employee upper limit and that while the are getting the extra time they don't fire anyone because of Obamacare.
The government will now exempt companies employing between 50 and 100 full-time workers from complying with the mandate that they offer employees affordable health insurance by another year, until 2016.
Companies that have 100 or more full-time workers, defined as employees who work more than 30 hours per week, still will have to begin complying with the mandate to offer such coverage in 2015 or face financial penalties of at least $2,000 and up to $3,000 per worker.
Officials said that any business claiming they are eligible for the new one-year delay because they have fewer than 100 workers must certify, under penalty of perjury, that it had not reduced its workforce merely to qualify for that exemption.

Yeah we can trust them to follow those guidelines. Well unless Obama has access to a pen.

This prick needs to look up dictator in the dictionary! All the while the repub establishment turns their back and lets him get away with it. ****in' cowards!

That would require at least a G-11 cargo parachute! :fuelfire:!

Outside of Impeaching him (like they did Clinton) I don't know what they can do. They would have to have the Senate and a lot of Democrats get on board to stop him.

It isn't, just like age discrimination is "illegal", but good luck proving it.
And it's also going to keep companies from hiring people, surprise, surprise.
-
Now you know why the liberals hand picked a black president. Not because they can really stand him but because he can get away with murder. The politicians are afraid that 12% of the population will rape, murder, burn and in general, just run wild if anyone opposes him in any significant way.

They had the same control over them with the useful idiots Sharpton and Jackson. I don't see need in that direction any further. But, you may be absolutely correct.
-
Great. Now in yet another effort to hide the truth of what a failure this policy really is....the Administration is using the threat of prosecution to silence people and force businesses into untenable situations.
What country are we living in again?
-

The next thing we'll hear about is the Government forcing companies to hire people whether they can afford it or not.
-
Directive 10-289 is in effect.
