Title: Cooking Group's Assistant Boss On Short Rations
Post by: GOBUCKS on February 06, 2014, 02:23:11 PM
The DUmp is withering away, gasping for relevance, due to Skimmer's automatic banhammer muzzling all the worthwhile lunatics.

We find ourselves, day after day, resorting to the hateful crones in the cooking group for amusement.

Today, DUmmy Lucinda abdicates her responsibilities entirely, leaving it up to the addlepated bald DUmmy fizzgig to run the coooking group:

what's for dinner - thursday, feb 6

cupboards are bare here, so if i'm not in the mood for leftover soup, it'll be a gut bomb of instant mashed and corn or boxed mac and cheese. i'm so happy payday is tomorrow

You can always spot a great chef, when they refer to their creations as "gut bombs".

Anyway, DUmmy fizzgig is obviously wallowing in the joys of the 0conomy, and that's entertaining to hear about.

6. My cornbread came out perfect using creamed corn and some chopped jalapeno in it.......

..... a trick I learned from "somebody" here on the Cooking & Baking Group.

I also threw in some chopped green bell pepper into the mixture. Had to adjust bake time a little bit from my "plain Jane" recipe but..... WOW! It's goooood!
Cornbread with no peas?

No beans or mushrooms, either.  :-)

But surely you're at least on formal speaking terms, and can ask.

So, then--the guy who came up with this concoction must be 'a great chef.'
