I have been told by four people that work for three different employers the last couple weeks that they had their hours cut to 28.
Every one of them said their employer told them it was because of Obamacare. What say you?

8. If there are four people I just ran into that were complaining about having their hours cut because of Obamacare, nationwide
there are going to be millions that will vote for Republicans this fall.

15. Bullshit
My daughter was told when she was hired for a retail job at a BS company (hey, work is work when you have a car payment to make!) that should would not be ALLOWED to work more than 25 hours because of Obamacare.
That just makes her hate her job and her employer. It most certainly will NOT make her vote for a Republican EVER IN HER LIFE.
In fact, it's people like this, playing games with her young life that will CEMENT HER SUPPORT OF DEMOCRATS.
This bullshit is making more, better young DEMS for life while they watch Republican shenanigans live and in person.
The only thing these companies are doing is pushing these kids right into the arms of the Democrats. I say they should keep it up.

18. Bullshit? Cnn headline today 1 1/2 million jobs may be cut because of
Obamacare. I have heard a few good stories about Obamacare but the bad ones far out number the good. We will loose the Senate
this year and probably more seats in the house because of Obamacare in my opinion. It may feal good thinking opinions will change before November but it sure doesn't look like it.

21. Again, BULLSHIT
Do you read anything before you go around posting about it?
What that CBO report said is that more people will choose not to take SHIT JOBS which will cause them to lose their medicaid based health care and just keep looking.
It said less people will accept GARBAGE JOBS to keep health insurance for their kids since they can now get affordable insurance somewhere else, aka healthcare.gov.
In fact, it's the exact same people who you say above will now be voting republican who will be freed up to provide affordable, extensive health insurance for the families without being treated like slaves.
You really should read a bit before you open mouth, insert foot.
DailyKos has made it easy for you to understand here:
Right there in the report on page 117 (yes, that's a lot of pages for conservatives to read) it says:
"The estimated reduction stems almost entirely from a net decline in the amount of labor that workers choose to supply rather than a net drop in businesses demand for labor. "
The CBO is not assuming that the law will lead employers to eliminate jobs or reduce hours, and actually says that there is "no compelling evidence that part-time employment has increased as a result of the ACA." It also says this:
The ACA's subsidies for health insurance will both stimulate demand for health care services and allow low-income households to redirect some of the funds that they would have spent on that care toward the purchase of other goods and services—thereby increasing overall demand. That increase in overall demand while the economy remains somewhat weak will induce some employers to hire more workers or to increase the hours of current employees during that period.

hey glitter which is it...
work is work when you have a car payment to make

How is anyone paying their car payment if they stay unemployed?
Are they more interested in paying for and keeping their car or more interested in sitting on their ass and having someone else pay for their health insurance?
Bet their employers will be glad to hear they only offer SHIT JOBS.....Here is hoping if you have one of those SHIT JOBS, you get SHIT CANNED.

DailyKos has made it easy for you to understand here:
In the news this morning they were talking about this very problem. The regime's response? (paraphrasing) "It will give workers more time to do things that make them happy by not being trapped in a job"So this administration expects adults will be satisfied with part-time work so they can sit on their asses and **** around in their spare time?
DUmmies will rejoice.

That's for sure going to solve the income inequity crisis that king barry keeps crowing about. :whatever:

At whose expense?Go into the nearest bathroom and look into the mirror. The person staring back at you is the person who will be paying for this DUmmy happiness.
Who is going to pay for all this Dummy happiness?
who will be freed up to provide affordable, extensive health insurance for the families without being treated like slaves.

You know, that poor dopey economist Furman, who came out to give the White House spin on why bad news is good news yesterday, said something that stuck in my mind, that none of the people laughing at him have really picked up for comment. He was talking about people who were working 60 or 65 hours a week going down to 35 and so just becoming part-timers. However, it strikes me that any job that can be cut to 35 hours will actually be cut to no more than 29 for obvious Obamacare-based reasons, and no worker that is actually workloaded to 60 hours now is likely to be cut at all, since replacing them in producing that same work output involves taking up the additional overhead for one or two more part-time workers in addition to the keeping the guy whose hours were cut to 20-25. What will actually happen in a lot of businesses is that for every two workers clocking 38-40 hours now as full-timers, there will be three part-time workers clocking 25-29 hours. And one of them will be enjoying welfare of some kind, or several kinds, while the other two desperately look for an additional part-time job that will fit their schedule, make up for the lost pay, and give them enough more money to actually pay the additional cost of their wonderful Obamacare coverage.

I'm thinking of one DUmmy in particular.
Who else has more time to do the things that make them happy, by not being trapped in a job?
Hobos. Especially Tucson hobos.
They have all kinds of time- even time for sex; with Indians, lesbians, and any plasma donor with $5. Their particular brand of boom-boom may be called...
Hobosexuality.
:lmao: :rotf:  :lmao: :rotf:  :lmao: :rotf:  :lmao: :rotf: :rofl:At the rate Obama and the democrats are going we will all be hobosexuals one day.

You know things are bad when the DUches are beginning to see the light of reality. I fully expect a purge of the Obama Care deniers in the coming months as this solely democrat provided cluster **** goes from bad to worse.
Obamacare, the Democrats gift to Republicans.
Jonah Goldberg just described Obamacare as being like a boat with a hole in the bottom of it. You keep bailing it out, but it keeps filling back up.
I would say holes. Every time a new part is implemented a new hole is drilled. Some are larger holes and some are smaller. The next big holes are going to be finding a doctor and the small businesses hiking fees or dropping people on to the exchanges. The biggest hole will be the employee mandate. By the time Obama Care is full implemented there the boat will look like cheese cloth.
I tried to get a non-ER doctor's appointment earlier this week. I made half a dozen phone calls (Blue Shield's lousy website doesn't help at all) and the earliest I could get an appointment was at least a week away. I ended up going back to the ER.I'll bet you would have gotten better service if you had told them your last name was sanchez, you don't speak a word of English and you have no means of paying for your medical care.

:ownit:
"I'm a complete fan of the Affordable Care Act, but now I can't sleep at night," Nelson said. "I can't imagine this is how President Obama wanted it to happen."
well done obama :bird:
So, it's better to be there to tuck your child in at a homeless shelter than it is to work. It's also better to just have no ambition, no desire to make a better life and home for your child even if you have to work two part time jobs and just continue to live in the shithole housing (or move into one), send them to school with ratty clothes and worn out underwear. But hey, you now have 0bamacare and will most likely be able to get Medicaid because other people ARE willing to work two part time jobs and will be carrying your tax burden.
You people are so ****ing stupid! The left establishment is doing to you exactly what they did to the black family during the so-called Great Society. All you're going to have is hopelessness, envy and hate. But you'll never get enough to thrive, only enough to survive. How else can they keep you dependent? Think about it. There've been plenty of times (most recently when 0bama first took office) when dems controlled both houses and the WH. They could easily voted to raise welfare benefits. They didn't, why do you think that is? Republicans couldn't do anything about it. It's not like public outcry was a concern either. The majority of the country didn't want 0bamacare then, a larger minority don't want it now, but it's still full steam ahead.
Oh, and read the CBO report directly, not the Kos version. It does give incentive for lazy people who think the are owed a living. But "shit jobs" are defined by you and your attitude. One person working at McDonalds may see it as an opportunity to become shift supervisor, then manager. That will give them the qualifications to find an even better job, if they choose. For someone else, it might be a way to earn a part time income while they're going to school or retired, etc. For people like you, it will be a shit job because you're convinced you should be made CEO after one day of work, especially since every single one of you are smarter than your bosses. Heck, even if you never go further than McDonald's crew kid, you're still getting experience that will lead to better opportunities.
Think about this: If all you guys decide to NOT take part time "shit" jobs who the hell will pay for your precious 0bamacare? Those working poor and middle class you guys are supposed to be championing. WORKERS pay taxes. The CBO report says that it could reduce the deficit because of additional tax revenue (it won't because these kinds of programs always go way, way over budget). Get that TAX REVENUE! That means someone's going to have to pick up the slack.
First it will be whatever definition of rich you're using today (evidently it people like Mitt Romney who gave their entire inherentence to charity rather than millionares like Bruce Springsteen who receives millions in government farm subsidies). Then, when the can't squeeze enough out of the rich, they'll raise taxes on the middle class. Keep in mind, these tax raises also affect small business (that should scare even you because of the percentage of America they employ). They will then have to cut workers or workers' hours to be able to stay in business and that will place an additional burden on the already overtaxed worker. Lastly, when that's not enough, they'll take from the working poor. Or it may not even trickle down to them because the country will have collapsed before that.
Your problem is you're so desperate to see this work because it's the legacy of your new Jesus, 0bama. It will be his legacy, just not the way you hope. Oh, and don't count on the country turning to government to save them. There's still an American spirit out here and distrust in government is overwhelming. We aren't going to turn to the organization that destroyed us to fix it. Take off your 0bama colored glasses and look at the mood of the country.
