First off, DUmmy "Segami" thinks tax-exempt status is part of the safety net:

John Elway Revealed That He Is A Republican Because He Does Not Believe In Safety Nets.
I am sure the GOP is chomping at the bit to run him for the Senate in Colorado.
:rotf: but there are some really strange replies, even considering that this is the DUmp:

2. OK
We can have the Broncos replay Seattle with Elway at quarterback. And then because he doesn't believe in "safety nets" the Broncos play with just a snapper at the line of scrimage and Johnny can show how he can do it all himself...
football equipment = the welfare state???

4. Funny coming from a guy that hid behind an offensive line.
I guess they should have let Dumbass get sacked every down.
:mental:

They really don't.......know a hell of a lot, do they?

Before he took the Broncos GM job, there was talk about Elway running for the US Senate from Colorado one day. I'd like to see that day come really soon.

This is really dumb, even by DUmmie standards.

And that's saying something!

What Elway said in the interview with Chris Wallace was that yes there needs to be a safety net but that he believed that people should pour themselves into achieving their goals and dreams and not depend on others.
Since his are not welfare, section 8 housing and food stamps it is no wonder DUmbasses took offense.

I always thought one of the best expressions to describe what has happened in American society the last 40 years or so is this. "The safety net has become a hammock"

John Elway Revealed That He Is A Republican Because He Does Not Believe In Safety Nets.
And right after that he said, "Obviously we have to have some safety nets".
It helps to be able to comprehend spoken words, but I guess that takes a little intelligence. It's quite obvious he was referring to, not safety nets, but obvious f'n hammocks, those things that you idiot Progs have used for generational warfare on minorities the nation over, causing the creation of generation after generation of non-productive leeches just getting by and not succeeding. Like cattle, but their value isn't measured in flesh, it's measured in votes.
Cupid stunt.

What do they care about his politics? According to them, football is an unnecessary violent game.

They hate anyone with a differing opinion. They're like the Borg. You MUST walk lockstep. Look at Tebow. What the hell did he do to them to warrant such hate? I mean, really? NOT A F'N THING, other than having personal opinions that differed from them. These people, DUmbasses, are bugs.

John Elway is a successful businessman who made over $80 million when he sold his 5 auto dealerships to AutoNation, currently owns 4 auto dealerships and 2 restaurants.
No wonder the DUmmies hate him.

Don't know why they have such a problem with wearing skins.... a gentleman of their persuasion was quite fond of them in Silence of the Lambs

I don't think Rex knows much about football, and I don't think he's ever seen Elway play. I've never really been an Elway fan, but I will give him credit for being one of the true passers who was also pretty mobile.

It's so sad that the Dummies can't even enjoy sports without getting in a tizzy about politics. If I stopped rooting for sports teams because some of the players were liberals/Democrats, I'd have no teams to root for.

I heard his statement and I totally agree with him. There has to be incentive to better yourself. Govt assistance is a handicap to incentive.
