I'm surrounded by Fox News koolaid-drinkers at work.

 I'm sick of it.

They were complaining about the fact that Obama was "whining" (their word, not mine) that Fox tells lies about him (or whatever it was he was, in my opinion, rightfully complaining out.

When I pointed out that, yes, Fox News, does tell a lot of lies, not just about Obama, they said that "well, all the other stations are just as bad, only from the opposite side." A position that is demonstrably false. And then went on to spout talking about about the ACA.

My problem is that I am not good at arguing. I can't marshal my facts when I need then, so I sit fuming instead.

So I've resolved to always change the subject. And, furthermore, I am not socializing with these people in any way. I'm going out to lunch with any of them ever again. And I will listen to my headphones if I am in the car with them (if i am not driving). I've had enough. Stupid morons are ruining this country.

I'm hoping soon to move to Northern Virginia, where I know I will find people like me, and get away from stupid redneck moron country for good.

they probably can't wait for her to go

Translation: "People disagree with me! I'm leaving! I'm going to Virginia where I'll find no conservatives, ever again!"

A position that is demonstrably false.

You see this constantly from the libs on other message boards.  They use words like "position" and "demonstrably" to show that they're so smart, but never support the assertion.  They think just because they say it, it's true.  The effect is unbelievably pompous.

She's so upset she's stuttering at the keyboard.

Has anyone ever given proof that Fox lies? just because a news organization tells the truth and goes where no other news organizations go, that doesn't mean it's a lie. Kind of like the saying "annoy a conservative by lying to them, annoy a liberal by telling them the truth".

Short answer, and it'll do for the long answer too: no.

It's not limited to your arguing, your writing sucks too.  At just a first reading, there are two instances of completely omitted words, two instances of using the wrong word for what you obviously intended, and an obvious capitalization error.  I'll bet your job is a lot more likely to involve making coffee than it is to involve actually writing anything that leaves the premises.

I thought Faux was dead and buried, they said that just days ago. So what difference does it make what Faux says?

I love how they believe that Fox does our thinking for us and we all would love Obama if only we didn't have Fox, Rush and other conservatives with a voice.

If FOX does our thinking, then I wished they would stop putting on all those lefty talking heads.

When I ask on other message boards, all I get is "Google it."
