The Denver Broncos offense set all the regular season records. But the Seattle Seahawks defense will be the ones remembered as all-time greats.
The Seahawks are Super Bowl champions for the first time after whacking the Broncos 43-8 Sunday night. Coach Pete Carroll and general manager John Schneider spent the last four years building the toughest, deepest, most versatile defense in football. Their vision was fully realized for the world to see on the game's biggest stage.
For so long, we thought the weather would be a factor in the first outdoor Super Bowl in the Northeast. Peyton Manning and the Broncos got perfect conditions -- it was 49 degrees at kickoff -- but the worst possible opponent.....

Seahawks dominate Denver from start to finish to win Super Bowl
Believe it, Seattle — after 38 years, the Seahawks are finally Super Bowl champions.
In fact, by the time it ended, the only thing unbelievable about this one was how easy it was, as the Seahawks cruised to a 43-8 victory over the Denver Broncos to take Super Bowl XLVIII in front of 82,529 spectators at MetLife Stadium.
A young and brash Seattle defense made Peyton Manning and Denver’s record-setting offense merely look old and slow, dominating the action from the start and forcing two first-half turnovers as the Seahawks jumped to a 22-0 halftime lead, the third-largest in Super Bowl history.
Percy Harvin then ended any thoughts of a Denver comeback as quickly as possible, returning the opening kickoff of the second half 87 yards for a touchdown to give Seattle, which entered the game as 2½-point underdogs in most sports books, a 29-0 lead....(more@ link)

38. Yay Seahawks. Hopefully this will shut up Teabagger Elway. His team could
have used a safety net tonight--also an offense, defense, and special teams unit.
FU Elway you sorry Rethug Bagger.

Leave it to a DUche to politicise a sporting event and make it about what is wrong with America. To all you lurking idiots... :bird: :bigbird:

But the Seahawks QB gave praise to God.
What's a DUmmie to do?

It's my understanding that Russell Wilson worships the same God as Tim Timbow. Thanks to this Superbowl win, Wilson now has a bigger stage upon which to talk about God.
-
Russell Wilson is a class act. As a native cheesehead, I'm so proud of this former Badger!
But, I thought the Dummy heads would explode when he mentioned God, more than once.
-
That's the problem with politicizing everything the way they so irritatingly do. On the one hand, you've got a teabagger, on the other hand you have a sky-daddy worshipping fundie. No wonder they're so miserable.

He has an advantage.....dark skin.

They find joy in misery, that is why they invent reasons to be outraged about everything.
-
How sad of a life do you have to have to make absolutely everything about politics? Oh yeah, I forgot we were talking about DUmmies. :whatever:
-
You know what? The Broncos have been my football team since I was 7 years old--not an easy thing at times, especially yesterday.
And you know what else? I'm over the fact they got hammered. It's A FREAKIN GAME. Something with which we find entertainment, nothing more. There's always next year.
But DUmmies? Nah, they gotta find something to be miserable about 24/7/365. Poor dumb bastards.

They still have a lot to be proud of this year.

Is one of the Dummies actually admitting that they stopped rooting for the Broncos because of the political leanings of their GM?
That's so pathetic.

Well, if there is a blame for the next civil war, it is them and their mentallity.

He didn't mention which one. [/Dummy mode off]

While I like hawks, I feel that water, making up 90% of he earth's surface, is guilty of H2O privilege and I think the Superbowl win proves my point.
Poor, oppressed land animals!
-
When one has to make everything political, they are miserable. :mental:

Ha! Wouldn't have been great for the Broncos to have a safety net?! Every touchdown would be worth 3 points. Every PAT .5 points. The safety 1 point. All given to each side of course. Every game would be a dead even tie!! How EXCITING! No one is better than another. Every game would be just like another. I can see a ratings bonanza!!! We should start this next year.
DUmbasses.

Should have known these (D)oUchebags would jump ALL over the Elway interview.
Suck it, Idiots. Most of you don't even like football.
