Troubling conversation when you have folks who WORK in medical research, who would juice up if they got Diabetes, since diabetes meds are the eviiillll and would not vaccinate their kids (if they had them), this is troubling folks. Yup, a conversation this morning that was beyond troubling at the market. When you have this talks with people WITHOUT the supposed education, it is one thing. But with somebody in a research PhD program... I got to wonder what the schools are teaching these days.
By the way herd effect is not even the conversation, that is an evil pharma saying. And please, do not, by any means, ever, et any vaccines. They are like really evil.
Oh and climate change is a lib'rul conspiracy. I know this STEM student is not the norm, but damn, that was some scary shit.
New campfire, just lit; no primitive's been to it yet.
<<<will monitor it for developments as they happen.

I'm finding this whole kerfunkle to be dubious.
"Medical researcher. At the market this morning. Somebody in a research PhD program." She expects even DUmmies to believe she got all that from an exchange at the store?
I'm with her, though, in having this question, " I got to wonder what the schools are teaching these days." I would say it like that, but regardless, I will guess that it isn't writing or critical thinking.

And please, do not, by any means, ever, et any vaccines.
My grandpappy, the grizzled old prospector, gave that same advice to me when I was a lad.
"Boy, I et a vaccine once. Worst thing I ever did."

1. Some beliefs will not tolerate contradiction. The answer is to compartmentalize ones self. The human mind is quite flexible about contradictions, or so I've found.

2. Oh I know, and this was one walking contradiction

It doesn't help. Trust us.
Oh and climate change is a lib'rul conspiracy.
No Blob, it's a wealth redistribution scheme through industry destroying, population controlling, extraordinarily excessive taxation that destroys the poor.
Keep up, will ya?

How could anyone comment?
There's no way to tell what she's talking about, and if you say that, the nadinettes will alert and you risk the ban hammer.

Whoa.
A whopping 125 views per primitive comment.
Alas! the poor cousin! alas! the primitives don't want to comment to the cousin!

As usual, the Cave is driving traffic to Skins' Island. gNads wouldn't command half as much attention if she wasn't the object of our anthropological expeditions.
Skins really should share some of that long green with our site owner.

Dad did the juicing/fasting thing and reversed his diabetes instead of doing insulin injections. Still no diabetes 5 years later.
Jury's out on the Autism. I vaccinated my kids late, just in case (on the advice of our pediatrician.)
Globull Warming. No contest.
Not sure if that's what she's even talking about though.
-
I was going to say that there is no vaccinations to prevent diabetes. Diabetes usually comes from bad eating habits, genetic or the glands in the endocrine system is not generating enough insulin.

That's really bad, about 141 views for each primitive comment.
That's abominably poor.
I suggest the cousin give up writing and try some other career, if this is what she gets.
-
Maybe instead of writing, the cousin shoud try a stint as a "double" in Hollywood, where someone else does the stunts so the real actor or actress doesn't get hurt.

Okay, trying to decipher here. There were these people, PhD's, no less, working in medical research who would "juice up" if they got diabetes? Are we talking juicing like steroids or Vitamix? OJ? Nor would they vaccinate their kids. Did this whole conversation happen while shopping for rutabagas, or was she following them hot on a story about "Why I'm smarter than a PhD who actually does research for a living?"
And while she was stalking them through the produce and canned fruit aisles she heard them say all this? How would that work?
PhD #1: "Hey Ed, after all the research we've done, I think if I ever got diabetes, I'd just juice up instead of taking insulin. Haven't decided yet whether to buy a vitamix, order steroids or drink scads and wads of orange juice, though."
PhD #2: "Me neither Fred, in fact, I've also decided to not vaccinate my kids either, well when I have them! Being in medical research, I just don't think life saving vaccines are worth the risk! So what if our research has resulted in millions and millions of saved lives?"
Still, if I overheard a medical research PhD questioning the safety of vaccines, I'd probably believe them over someone who spends their time trying to avoid "crunchy stories".
Though I have to agree with her about theliberal indoctrination centers schools. I really don't know what they're teaching people these days. Evidently in Medical Research 101 they're teaching the dangers of diabetic medicines. Changing your diet can often eliminate the need for medications if you have type 2.
Personally, I've never heard big pharma worried about (or inducing?) a kind of herding mentality. Is she advocating not eating vaccines or was that part of the overheard conversation? How would one, unless the were medical researchers or doctors & nurses even acquire said vaccines to "et" them? Aside from never realizing you can "et" a liquid why would this be a problem for society at large?
Okay, now the STEM student. Is that someone different than the PhD person? Because I would think, unless they were pursuing a second degree, someone with a PhD would no longer be a student. How did global warming get into the conversation?

Well, if she lost a ton of weight she could double for the dwarfs who represent the Lollipop Guild, should there be a remake of Wizard of Oz.

I've seen the photos of the cousin posted here.
She *is* a double.

OK, now I have to play this game too!
(Scene; grocery store. Two strangers meet. A dwarf from, "The Hobbit" listens in.)
PHD1: Hi there. I'm a PHD.
PHD2: Amazing co-inkydink! So am I!
PHD1: Isn't it great to know stuff the little people will never know?
PHD2: Almost a great as keeping the truth from them!
(Together) Bwa Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!
PHD1: Like who would believe that mere orange juice would cure Diabetes?
PHD2: We sure made a mint with that one!
(Together) Bwa Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!
PHD1: (wipes a tear from his eye) Or like how vaccinations are a total crock!
PHD2: And we're both major stockholders...Pay up, little people!
(Together) Bwa Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!
PHD1: This venue is a little public, aren't you afraid someone will overhear?
PHD2: Apart from that lawn gnome over there...who will ever know?
PHD1: Lets go invent the next health scare, daddy needs a new yacht!
(They exit together) Bwa Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!
Lawn Gnome: (whips out pad and paper) What a scoop! I must inform the public!
(Later...The PHD's are monitoring DU)
PHD2: Only three replies.
PHD1: Crunchy!
(Together) Bwa Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!

Okay, that's it. I'm not going to bother any more.
If the cousin can garner only one comment per 153 views, it would be good if she sat down to think about why that is.

:exactly:
What the hell is the bald dwarf talking about? Vaccinate? Diabetes? It ain't f'n polio, Nads. :whatever:

I don't know; apparently you don't know, and nobody else here seems to know either.
And quite obviously, even the primitives don't know.
-
When PhDs speak, dwarfs listen.
E. F. Hutton is that you?
-
If only there was a cure. I'm sure that millions would be lining up for it.
-
I wonder if the PhDs crowded the retired sub captain out of the conversation.

The cousin should examine the bitter old Vermontese cali primitive's latest hot thread, to see the differences--besides a vast chasm in views and comments.
She'd find that cali carefully crafted her topic, while cousin nadin just slopped hers together.
Why the cousin thinks her crass sloppiness is worth reading, escapes me.
And not to mention she's insulting her audience by slovenly slopping these things out.

She needs an English translator for her DUmp posts.
She may know what she wants to say in mexican, but it always comes out as an impossible word salad when she writes it in English.
Of course she's as much a lunatic in mexican as she is in English, but she'd be a lot more entertaining if you could understand what she's saying.

I wonder sometimes if perhaps she uses one of those one-language-to-another-language "translation" web-sites from the internet, to put it into English; and you know how good those are.
It's probably not only eastern Asiatic translations they mess up.
But seriously, the cousin can't see that she turns off her audience because she's so sloppy in her "presentation"?

I think gNads is on the fast track to being a DU has-been.
