So, when you've gotten to lazy to rub a bar of soap to wash your hands, you buy a bottle of liquid soap. You mash the top and it squirts easy to lather liquid soap into your hands....job half done right there.....now we've gotten so lazy the wife is buying liquid soap in a bottle that when you mash the top it squirts soap suds in your hand.....and they smell funny.
Why can't I just have my own personal bar of LAVA soap in the bathroom? I promise to hide it if the wife is ashamed to admit that I still sometimes like to get my hands dirty......or just a bar of plain IVORY soap will do.....and now there must be nine different bottles of some kind of liquid soap in the shower, 5 for her and 4 for son and not a damn bar of soap in sight for me.....I'm moving. :-)

That's hilarious! I think I'll buy a second bottle, hide the first, and put the second in a "pretty squirt bottle" as a practical joke on mine. He'll stroke. LOL ^5!

We have the old gritty type powdered soap at work for those of that get our hands dirty, but they also have a bottle of mango scented crap like you're talking about. That is for the guys that work in the office. :jerkit:
At home I keep some Dawn dish soap in one of the liquid soap containers. It seems to remove most grease and grime.

I'm 2/3 as lazy as you. I use a bar of Ivory Soap for hair and body.
I use menthol shaving soap to give my face a little tingle.

(Kicks a rock.) I just buy bars of soap. I'm not cool like the other kids.
I won't buy conditioner (cause I always thought it was a gimmick), I just use the shampoo.
--I don't even use shaving cream. I splash hot water on my face and scrape away with a cheap razor.

I prefer a bar of dial soap with one of those net body scrubbers. Makes a great lather. Whenever I've used a body wash, it feels like it stays on your skin and you can't get it all rinsed off.

Bar soap irritates my skin. Liquid Dove does better, except for January and February when I become an itchy, rashy, dry mess. Dermatologist recommended only bathing no more than every three days in those months. :???: Not a suitable solution for me. I enjoy my baths, thank you.
Remembering the lye soap made in a lab class that was luxuriously silky without leaving residue on my skin, I decided to try my hand at making homemade soap. It solved the problem. No more itchy, burny, rashes even with my daily soak in the tub. The rest of the family liked the soap better as well. We no longer purchase commercial soap, be it foam, gel, or bar.

I feel exactly the opposite! I feel like Dial bar soap clings to me all day. I use the body washes.
Now, for sink washing, like for hands, I don't like the bar soaps because they give me the creeps. Somebody else's dirt is still clinging to them. Yuck.
My dad used to use Lava, but my mom made him keep it in the workshop. :-)

I'm on my first bottle of oil of olay body . Shampoo (hair is fuller. Both of them.) Shave , slick and more life to my razors and lastly , I have a fluffy luffa for body and back.
I couldnt be happier with the results. I even bought a spare so I wont run out.
