Wife has got to go to work....2 hours late. The main roads are worse than the side roads but her boss lives up town and I guess he thinks all is well out here in the country. So if you don't hear from me for a few days, don't worry, I am on the road somewhere....between a warm place and a cold place.
One inch of wet ice and 24 degrees, what lovely driving conditions.

Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.
You're too valuable.
Just have the wife drive herself to work.

Always remember, four wheel drive helps you go but it does NOT help you stop...ever.

Main road has been blocked right below home for 2 hours and they're diverting traffic onto other roads(bad wreck I guess). Made it to town and back OK but saw where several cars/ trucks had been in the ditch....and 3 left in the ditch that were 4 wheel drive. They must have poured the salt too the roads in town because they are clear but when you get to the city limits, it's every idiot for himself.
The by-pass(now main street) was fine and so I was doing the speed limit(45 mph) in the left lane because I was coming up to the stoplight where I wanted to make a left turn. Some damn woman was flashing her lights and blowing her horn at me wanting me to speed up or let her pass....she left turned into the WAL-MART parking lot right before my light... :censored:

Had to get to the Walmart this morning. :bang head:
Glad you made it back safely.

In the words of Greg Gutfeld, "I HATE THESE PEOPLE!"
We've been dealing with a lot of white-out conditions; you see nothing but white, and for all you know, you're plowing through someone's yard and about to crash into their living rooms. It's terrifying. Some ass was behind me during this, tailgating me. I was screaming.

My husband and oldest boy (both volunteer firefighters) are out helping to pull a car from a ditch. They were out "joy riding" with 6 inches of snow that fell last night and icy roads. Grrrr
