On the surface its bigotry/racist but when viewed with the above in mind perhaps not.
Its Time for a Hispanic, Oriental, Black, Brown, etc to be considered for their respective abilities....
Obama fits the bill...
He wants a go at the Oval and I feel he should be afforded that op.....

There are SOOOOO many black people I'd vote for over McCain, but they're not running. This isn't about race. Obama is a Damn Socialist. Why is it that they say the conservatives don't promote black people, yet when we DO, they're considered nothing but "Uncle Toms" or "House Negroes"?
The DNC, just another plantation.
First black man promoted to Secretary of State, by Republicans. First black female SOS, by Republicans. First black Sec'y of Education, by Republicans.

American. And I think it is high time we stopped looking to the great satan for our masters and leaders. Time for change. Real change we can believe in. Time for hope. Enough of all the tired old answers and solutions. Look what they has brought us! George Bush is American. Enough is enough.

Friendswood physician Robin Armstrong, a former medical missionary in Africa, recently was re-elected vice chairman of the Texas Republican Party, the only black person to serve in one of the state party's top two positions during the 20th and 21st centuries. The son of a former La Marque school board member, Armstrong spoke with Chronicle reporter Alan Bernstein about personal, partisan and racial politics and about Democrat Barack Obama.
Q: Two-word question: Barack Obama?
A: Barack Obama. Wish he were more conservative. Wish he was conservative at all. Wish that his philosophy was more in line with mine. Wish he was not pro-abortion, especially in the advanced stages, which he is.
As a physician, I am very much opposed to nationalizing our health care system, much as I am against nationalizing our oil industry. And so I think he would take our country down a road of socialism, which is not something good for us.
Q: You have said that liberalism has not served minorities well. Please explain.
A: My father often talked about how things were obviously very, very difficult, things were separate. They had outdoor toilets and all this (for blacks in La Marque). One thing he did, he learned. They forced him to learn. The African-Americans who ran the school at the time, they understood that that is what you needed to get ahead.
I think that the Great Society policies of Lyndon Johnson, well intentioned as they were, have created a cycle of dependency. I believe in helping those obviously who are unable to help themselves, but I believe at some point we have to expect people to pull themselves up.
Q: Do you want to run for elected office?
A: I think I will run for some public office at some point. I am not sure exactly what yet.

Some of you might remember him for placing his career on the line to save his troops in Iraq. He is none other than Allen West, LTC, US Army-Ret, and he's running as a Republican. I have him linked on USMILNET and have exchanged e-mails with him several times.

The police officer insisted that he did not know anything about planned attacks and was loyal to the United States Army. When the detainee didn't talk, Lieutenant Colonel West fired his 9mm pistol close to the man's head. At this point, the man gave information about a planned ambush, resulting in its being thwarted. According to West, there were no further ambushes on U.S. forces in Taji until he was relieved of command on October 4, 2003.
ANY man that places a 20 year career on the line to save his men's lives deserves my respect and support.

Someone applying for what is arguably the "top" job on the whole planet should be able to present some form of, ya know, qualification for that job.

I thought the "respective abilities" remark was race-conscious at best - why would different races have special abilities?
