The moving guys will be there with my stuff at 8 a.m. the 29th! These are guys that work for the program that do this. They are to move it in, set up things that are more than a one person job. then I start cooking my first dinner in my new place!

and she posts a picture of some keys, to make sure they know what she's talking about.  :rotf:

Dummy "fizzgig" asks her about dinner and she says:

Pro tip... the moving guys don't decorate.

What a useless cow.

If she gets her keys tomorrow, I wonder if she will sleep there tommorow before the movers come on Wed.

I'm also wondering if she's just going to say hasta la vista to her current bedmates, or if she'll play it forward by giving someone else a safe place to stay and a hand up.

My guess is she'll go solo and ignore "those people".

Is she bringing the bed bugs with her?

Amber's tiny hitch hikers.

I wonder how long before the complaints from her begin about how the mattress and bedclothes were contaminated by "others".

You know, like the two times she got the bum's rush at the Sally's.

Being a retired military wife, I can tell you that they are NOT going to set things up for you Amber.

For some reason I think a green salad means she is going to be picking grass.

Being a retired military wife, I can tell you that they are NOT going to set things up for you Amber.

Random housewarming party remarks:

"Amber, I love what you have done with this space! Who would have ever thought of placing the bong right on the center of the coffee table?"

"Amber, I found the remote. All we need is a ladder to reach the ceiling"

"Amber, is it ok to leave the dishes in the sink for later?"

"What time does the handyman get here?"

"Anyone know where the patching plaster went to?"

"Does the light in the bathroom always make those sparks?"

"How do you turn up the heat?"

"Do you mind if we crash here tonight?"

"Where did you store the gin?"

"My place is nicer and bigger. This place is much cleaner though"

Poor delusional Amber.  She will go to some apartment complex website and steal some pictures to post as her new place.

She better be working.  A third of her paycheck is supposed to go towards the cost of her new digs.

She should plan to prepare a big deep-fried turkey for them.

She was taken to a warehouse/showroom a couple of weeks ago where they store furnature and furnishings. Part of her treatment is being allowed to pick out her stuff, stuff that she approves of. So her stuff is being delivered at 08:00 hours wed.

Then the workers will place everything just so and then off to the kitchen! Then she will stuff herself.

According to Amber, in Tucson the taxpayers set up deadbeats - even if they just arrived on a bus from out-of-state - in nice furnished apartments, including appliances and a stocked refrigerator.

And it's not just a crummy furnished flat. She gets to choose custom furnishings so it's exactly to her taste, and then the taxpayers pay a mover to get all the chosen stuff moved in and set up.

They give the deadbeats made-up jobs, and freeze their rent at 30% of whatever they make at their made-up job. If they go on a bender, miss a lot of work, and make less money, the rent will just go down.

It's hard to imagine why a wino or hobo would live anywhere but Tucson.

From my observations in Lincoln, Nebraska (the place where I lived the longest in my life, and so had time to notice such things), the "mover" is some truck driver who collects donations and stashes them away somewhere in donated space.  Recipients of such things--furniture, appliances--weren't allowed to go there and pick-and-choose.

When the driver had to deliver stuff to a person's place, he just went and took what looked likely--to him--to be of use for the recipient, dleivered it, and that was that.

I've never been aware it's different anywhere else.

I agree.  I think this tale is for our benefit.  We know she reads the DUmpster and this is her attempt to say we were wrong.  She's not living under a bridge but living a life of taxpayer supported luxury.

Hard to believe since someone here posted the status of section 8 and other public housing in Tucson.

The only circumstance I would even assume this might be true is if Ms. Hoyt were a long-time resident of Tucson and had a couple of middle class friends who were making some of this happen by calling in favors.  Amber's personality seems to be such that she wouldn't be endearing to any person, long-term or short-term.

And the whole job situation?  With unemployment the way it is, she waltzes into Tucson, Arizona and is presented with this coffee shop job?  I don't believe a word of it.

When my husband and and I purchase any sort of household appliance or new furniture, he won't even spend the $50 or $100 to have it delivered.  He will pick it up himself and bring it into our home.  And he has a real job.

I am not. I can see her scamming some government or private organization that helps mentally disabled people to become self sufficient. The Org. would provide a structured and supervised job and housing and when the client gains the skills to operate in the real world they would be transitioned to a real job and their own non-subsidized apartment.

That is the way it supposed to work. She will scam the system for as long as she can assuming that is what is going on.

Yes it does, Sage.  I think it's also intended for women who are in a major shit-hit-the-fan sort of way, such as a lunatic husband beating the shit out of her and her kids.   Amber is purposely homeless, and her only crisis was some bad weather a while back.   She's milking resources from someone else who might really freaking need it.

That org is completely non-governmental BTW.  Private donations and volunteer time.  I thought DUmmies said this was impossible?  In fact, there are some who have said that such orgs should be outlawed, with all such assistance coming from government, nowhere else.
