You Can Now Carry A Gun Into City Buildings In Castle Rock, Colorado. As Long As It Can Be Seen
Last edited Wed Jan 22, 2014, 12:39 PM - Edit history (1)
Castle Rock city council passed 4-3 an abolishment of city ordinance that bans open carry guns in city buildings and offices. I assume that you can transport your weapon openly on your way to a city office which means you can probably open carry your gun on the street. If a city office includes the police department you can probably carry you gun into that office as well.
Eventually gun owners will want to open carry anywhere they want including businesses, schools, churches, etc. Might be a good idea to stay out of that city.
This poser is seriously unhinged, that makes him a perfect fit at skin's island.

This guy seems to be very close to the edge. It won't take much more for him to lose it.
Frightening.

Got any statistics showing why?
Didn't think so.

Yes, it would be a damn good idea if you and your DU monkeys would stay the hell out of our cities period. Go to Frisco where you can beat off in public and wear flowers in your hair, where the only people who have guns are the crooks who'll not even think twice at wiping out your ass for your wallet containing your money food stamp card.
-
My guess is that mass shooting in Castle Rock will, if not already, go down to zero.

Yeah, every time there's a story like this there are predictions of "blood running through the streets", cars backfiring or firecrackers popping causing massive shootouts, vigilantes hauling out their iron during robberies and ending up mowing down innocent civilians, etc., etc., ad nauseum. Same as the dire prognostications of "open season on hoodie-wearing black yutes" following the Zimmerman trial. Somehow, none of their doomsday prophesies never come to fruition.
What a bunch of moronic, hysterical fools.

What the DUmbass apparently doesn't realize, is that ALL of Colorado is "Open Carry Legal".
(Arapahoe County and Denver cops tend to ignore that little technicality - turning a traffic stop of somebody legally carrying into a overblown affair of histrionics and dramatic pointing and ordering with their own sidearms - but they are the exception which proves the rule.)
When I lived in Colorado, I carried openly more often than not. Mostly, places of business who were uncomfortable - there were only a few of them - with that would quietly approach me and ask that I take my gun from their premises - and I immediately and happily complied with their desires.

Hopefully, you took your business elsewhere as well.

It would be on my short list of places to move if, I couldn't already (almost) do the same thing here.
Out in the woods, nobody cares. It's fairly expected.
Poor (D)Ummie. I would frighten you.
Got any statistics showing why?
Especially, since the crime rate is, undoubtedly, far lower than the slime pit S/H/IT lives in.

And that bothers you, why? Wouldn't it be fun, for you, to watch/hear of the bible-clinging, Tea Partier, sKy-gOd lovers blowing each other away in a Sam Peckinpah blaze of gunfire?

Go, and hide under your bed, thumb sucker. You're better off not mingling with civilized people.

I'll be in Castle Rock, Sunday.
Eldest son and youngest daughter live there. :yahoo:

Do I really have to dignify that with an answer? :cheers1:

So wait just a darn second, are you telling me you didn't just start popping caps in people after you were asked to remove your firearm from the premises?
I am going to have to recalculate some data now.

Does it count if I had a bunch of great places to hide the bodies? :-)

Blathering idiot. Prior to the Internet, I was blissfully ignorant that we have so many people walking our streets that should be locked up in asylums. MasterBater is one of those.

Aww. Poor DUmmie.
You "all government all the time" types are so clueless.
It just never occurs to you, that governments are supposed to follow the rules which govern them. This particular event rights one of a number of wrongs in that context. The bill of rights, amendment 2 in particular, has been incorporated against the states. That means, put simply, that yes virginia , those rules even apply in places like unsecured city buildings. Every time this happens, we've taken back just a little bit of our country. You jackholes are always whining over on the island about what conservatives mean by "taking back our country", claiming not to know what it means. Well, now you have an example. Of course, we who pay attention note with disgust, that the issue has to be forced almost with out exception, in order for those rules to be obeyed , which just adds to the perception of illegitimate, spoiled rotten, no respect for the rules, bad government.
Fools.

They will just die.....cheaply, won't even need to fire the weapon.
