Libya declares state of emergency

Libya has declared a state of emergency as the air force attacked gunmen in the remote south to end unrest between rival armed groups that have been clashing for days.
The General National Congress, Libya's highest political authority, took the decision on Saturday during an "extraordinary session" after the parliament put the army on alert as gunmen stormed the air force base, Tamenhant, near the southern city of Sabha, an official said.
...
Local sources said the clashes that started last week were sparked by the death of a rebel chief linked to the Awled Sleiman, adding that the tribe accused the Toubou of murdering him.
...
Western powers fear the OPEC producer will slide into instability as the government struggles to contain heavily-armed groups and tribesmen who helped topped Muammar Gaddafi in 2011 but refuse to disarm.

3. How long before we join them? nt
Seeing who is prez... I'd say an attempt will be made pretty soon. And then I'm guessing libby and pavement ape blood will be spilled as they figure out we own all the weapons. And know how to use them. And will.

4. I wonder who flew the planes?
I thought the west pretty much destroyed the Libyan Air Force a couple of years ago.
I guess the smartest, bestest prez failed here too.
That's it for now. I doubt it will go much further.

I assume that the PhuckItsEars is asking how long before we join them in a dictatorship. If so, the answer is that we're almost already there.
When Pelosi was the Speaker of the House, the Hate America Party essentially had a triumvirate. Their Attack Healthcare Act is evidence of their power.
While the people were able to overthrow Pelosi and she is no longer a triumvir, the two remaining individuals still act as co-consuls and are forcing their will upon the citizenry.
I do have a feeling the each of the co-consuls views himself as Octavius while viewing the other as Marc Antony.

Barry Bigears seems to have the "fecal touch".
Libya, Syria, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, USA.
All are countries he's involved with.
Every single one is headed straight into the crapper.

I've actually come to agree with this. Their religion dictates submission. Can anyone name one Islamic democracy? I mean, in the true definition? Muzzies, like the Progs, are geared to be ruled. I don't want to see another ounce of American blood spilled over Muzzies pretending to want freedom. It bites us in the ass every.single.time. This is not to say we shouldn't have gone into Afghanistan or Iraq. We should have just left right after the mission was completed. **** rebuilding their shit. It's war.
