Title: for BainsBane: franksolich gets objectified
Post by: franksolich on January 17, 2014, 06:47:17 PM
this is dedicated to the BainsBane primitive, so as to illuminate her that women are not the only subjects of dirty minds.  One hopes she enjoys it.

franksolich gets objectified.  The femme was here Tuesday afternoon, and when putting something away in the second drawer of the dresser in the bedroom, suddenly let out a cry of surprise.

I looked at her as if Bozo from Outer Space; she knows this place like the back of her hand, and there’s no surprises around here, nothing she’s never seen before.

She pulled some things out.

Ooooooops, I thought.

“Oh, those,” I hastily explained; “they were Christmas presents from [a mutual friend of ours, who’d stayed here last summer]--”

“These?” she scornfully laughed, dangling five jock-straps in front of me.

“It’s okay,” I assured her; “as you can see, they’ve never been worn, and they all still have their tags on them, with the prices snipped off.  I meant to give them away to Goodwill, but hadn’t gotten around to it yet.”

“These?” she laughed again, making me nervous.

“Really, I was going to give them to Goodwill,” I repeated, “whenever I got a boxful of stuff making a trip worthwhile.  As you can see, they’ve never been worn--”

The femme examined them, convulsed with laughter.

I blushed.  These were not ordinary jock-straps, the usual white athletic ones.

One of them had a miniature bull on front, for covering up what is usually a rather sensitive area of a male.  Another, instead of a patch of webbed cloth, had a “see-through” net there.  The third had a “fig-leaf” covering about the size of a dime, purposely not made to cover up.  The fourth was, well, just really skimpy.

The fifth had a shallow blue plastic “bowl” in front.

“I think this one would hurt, no ‘give‘ in it,” she commented.

“Hardly the sorts of things one puts on in a locker-room,” she said.

She was curious as to the “why” of the gift.

Last summer, this friend and I were up in Vermillion, South Dakota, where she was giving some sort of talk on prairie soils, and as neither of us felt like driving way back here, we rented a room in a motel, with two double beds.

She’s a married woman, and I’m spoken for, and I wished to maintain decorum.

However, when she got into her bed and I into mine, she commented I was still dressed.

I pointed out that while she’d brought her luggage, since my coming along was a spur-of-the-moment decision after we were already barreling down the highway, I hadn’t brought any myself.

“Well, that’s okay,” she said, “but you don’t have to sleep in your clothes.”

I took off my shirt and laid down.

“You can take off your pants too; you don’t have to sleep in your pants,” she said.

I hesitated.

“I’ve seen you in your underwear,” she said.  “You don’t need to be bashful.”

I hesitated again, and then blurted out, “But I’m not wearing any underwear.

“This morning, when the cats alerted me that [the neighbor] was coming up the driveway, I just grabbed this pair of pants and put them on.  And so much was going on I never got around to putting anything else on.

“I’ve got nothing on underneath these pants.”

She groaned.  “Oh, take them off; I wouldn’t be seeing anything I haven’t seen before.

“You’re such a contradiction, uptight and untight always, at the same time.”

So I undressed, and we went to sleep, she in her nightdress and I in my nothing.

Sometime during the middle of the night, I’d wandered over into her bed, but nothing happened, as I later assured the femme.  “She was sleeping closer to the air-conditioning, and it was hot.”

- - - - - - - - - -

“I believe you, sort of,” the femme said, “but really, is there anybody who hasn’t seen all of you?  Sometimes I wonder.  You’re forever wanting to both hide and show off.”

“Well,” I dryly said, “do you want me to model them for you?”

Putting them back into the drawer, the femme said some other time, which both relieved and discomfited me.

Why do you feel it necessary to announce your sexual fantasies to me?   There's a current thread on DU where male members feel compelled to express their views on female public hair.  Perhaps joining that thread will satisfy your need for personal disclosure?

I forgot to ask.
Does the DUmp also have any current threads where they discuss female private hair?

That's the one she's referring to; it's pretty boring, though.

Hair on female mannequins.

The primitive boys are getting all hot and excited about it, because that's the best they can do, being unable to "relate" to living breathing thinking women.

Well, if franksolich is nothing else, franksolich is persistent, tenacious; most in real life consider that my biggest strength, my outstanding virtue.  It sure as Hell beats any other strength or virtue I might have.

I may not get her to like me, but at least I'll get her to like something I write for her.

Your joke definitely pleased.

The problem is you don't understand that objectification is not sexual attraction.  It's a pervasive cultural practice of treating women as objects (of sex, beauty, whatever) rather than as human beings.  Additionally, I don't approve of affairs or liaisons with married people.  I've ended up dating a couple of married men but only because they lied about being single.  Lastly, the content of the story doesn't fit the title of your thread.

Also I don't often drink, so don't calculate a hangover into your schedule.

But please, don't worry about pleasing me.  It's really not necessary.

It's a pervasive cultural practice of treating women as objects (of sex, beauty, whatever) rather than as human beings...

Damn people and their attraction to beautiful things!!!

Did it ever occur to you that when a woman is praised for her beauty the understanding of her humanity is implicit?

When someone praises a beautiful painting it is because they know it is a painting and it stands out from other works of art.

The reason humanity is not specifically mentioned is because it is the one thing that is inherently understood, the one thing that doesn't need to be mentioned because it is the underlying assumption that, if it were removed, would invalidate every purpose of the observation.

A thousand ships went to retrieve Helen and what unfolded was one of the deepest examinations of what it means to be human. But hey! You just go ahead and bitch about the fact that she was beautiful and that's what had the Greeks all hot and bothered.

The fact is so obvious it takes PhDDs to miss it.

Meanwhile, if a woman were to be objectified for her sexuality, i.e. "She's a slut." You would bray to the Heavens about slut-shaming. Nevermind if she wants numerous indiscriminate, uncommitted sexual encounters, you complain about people notices the very thing she wants to be know for.

You aren't fighting for equality. You are fighting to consolidate power over everyone around you.

You are a tyrant of the worst order because nothing anyone does will ever satisfy your incessant demands. You want to up-end all human behavior that has been constant since the dawn of time and impose your own rules. You don't care how women want to be seen or how men might naturally see them; you just want to impose rules.

Tell me: What if I refuse to play by your rules?

Reminded of the lyrics of a song from the 60's-----" Beauty would not beauty be, if it did not die."   Not sure of the spelling but I believe it was from the Poso Secos  tune titled Johnny.   A 60's folk band.

That's not a 'Problem,' that's normal human thought...whether it's relating to women, men, nations, cats, or dogs.  Nobody seriously relates to every other being 'as a rounded special and unique individual,' it's a ridiculous power-wielding gambit of passive-aggressive game-playing by a self-styled victim.  Women AND men to whom we lack any individual emotional connection ARE objects, in the way a human mind works.  Are TEA partiers, Pro-Life activists, or Second Amendment supporters actually rounded characters with real human concerns to you?  Of course not, and it would be laughable for you to assert otherwise.

We don't buy the paradigm you are trying to use to gain moral ascendancy over us, you may as well save it for the thoroughly-indoctrinated DUmmtards and academic industry drones on whom you normally use it to gain power.

Can't you all see what's happening here?  Alex is here because she is craving attention from men?  She won't debate or go back and forth with the women in this forum but she will go on and on with the guys.

Two words come to mind:  Attention Whore.  But only from men, specifically, conservative men.  I guess the sissies at the DU just don't do it for her.

She's probably sitting there naked in her taxpayer-funded apartment with a piece of Swiss cheese.

Ya know, it's true. Its lonely being a psycho b!tch pariah. She probably has bruises from people touching her with 10 foot poles.

I've known stunningly beautiful women who were clueless as to why they could not get a date. These gals were gorgeous on the outside, but shrill harpies on the inside. Guys could juts feel the red flags popping up after just a simple conversation with her. I've talked to these gals and afterwards felt I just escaped an encounter with Lizzie Borden.

Contrast that to a plain gal with a dazzling personality. Guys surrounded her. Her charm made up for a lack of looks and she ended up married to a great guy and had wonderful kids. Happiness for life.

Bottom line: Feminist bullies always end up alone. (and they are still attracted to masculine men)

Objectification is precisely about not looking at people as people but instead as things.

It's not about admiring beauty of physical attraction.  That is normal.  It is about regarding women as objects.

A fair point.  A good point actually.  The issue, however, is that since the media commodifies images of women's bodies, seeing women as objects is far more pervasive than about any random individual or group one doesn't know.

No, actually it's a theory devised and studied by social scientists.

I've seen a number of references to people claiming I am playing victim.  I am most decidedly NOT a victim.  I address issues as I see them.  Observing society and behavior doesn't make me a victim.  It makes me aware.  Awareness is crucial in not allowing media images of women (or whatever) determine who one is.

Leftists do not look at people as people, they view people as part of a group and each individual is expected to behave a certain way, if they don't then there is a problem. For example a black conservative simply can not exist in a leftist's mind, neither can a woman who opposes abortion. Leftists also believe that every non white, non heterosexual, minority of any kind should be a protected class and society must bend over backwards in order to cater to those sub groups. You expect people to change their religious beliefs to suit the minority. If we aren't willing to, then you start whining about how opposition to your meddling with religious beliefs is somehow hate.

You want to talk about objectifying women, what exactly does dressing up as a vagina and running around in public do to women? It reduces them to nothing but what is in between their legs. If I was a woman I would be offended as hell if I was told to vote with my lady parts.

PhDD, allow me to give you a glimpse into the universe I live in.

Everything that can lay claim to having mass is an object. From the molecular level to the level of galactic clusters and beyond.

Objects possess properties that cannot be discerned without observation. For instance, a person upon initial observation may present as a cast iron harpy but upon further observation one can tease out that said person has a pleasant disposition.

You see, by simple objectification I have changed the nature of the object from my perspective.

People have two eyes, that by the grace of God, are mounted in such a way as to provide us with stereoscopic vision which allows us to objectify objects in three dimensions. We have ears that are positioned in such a way as to detect sound in three dimensions and a brain that connects it together to make it all work. I use these features to objectify and classify everything that catches my attention.

1) Is it potentially harmful to me or others close to me, in this case the object is either killed or I beat feet away from it.

2) If the object is potentially beneficial to me or others close to me then I'll sidell up to it and try to ingratiate myself to it.

So you see, wether you like it or not, everything is objectified and classified to the best of my ability.

Welcome to my universe.

No, actually it's a theory devised and studied by social scientists.

I have a degree in those 'Sciences'...the professionals in them are just bullshit artists and buzzword manufacturers, almost universally with a personal stake, a professional stake, or both in validating victim classifications.  The people doing anything productive with it died out or retired a generation ago.  The only 'Science' involved in social science anymore is statistics, for which the so-called social scientists frame the inquiry and shade the inputs, and then farm out the processing to the mathematicians, partly because it makes their heads hurt and partly because it lends an illusion of objectivity to the whole process.

I hope she uses rechargeable batteries to keep her carbon footprint down.

The primary victims in the life of Alex are D cell batteries.

She just wants to be a victim; it's no more than that.

I'm guessing she probably was in fact some sort of victim of sexual use and misuse and abuse--after all, not all males are gentlemen--and yes, that's tragic and it should have never happened and I hope the guy rots in Hell, but she's blaming the wrong sorts of persons.

"Misdirected anger" is s-o-o-o-o-o-o common among the primitives; I'm sure you recall the classic case of the Bostonian Drunkard and George Bush; Bostonian Bill kept on lambasting and castigating Bush, but it was, uh, pretty obvious his real anger was with his father.

But normally people are restrained in criticizing their fathers, and so he wouldn't do that.

However, he had, or has, all this anger, and the energy needs to be dissipated somehow, against someone.

Ditto for her (and for the bitter old Vermontese cali primitive too); if she was in fact sexually used, misused, and abused, it was probably by a member, or members, of some group of men for whom it's politically-incorrect for primitives to criticize.

And so she directs her anger against a group of men for whom it's politically-popular to criticize, even though they had nothing at all to do with her pain.

I really doubt white conservative gun-toting Republicans entertain for a minute any thought of preying on her body, or bodice.  If one happens to be attracted to her, for whatever reason, it's not for her feminine parts.

Well, now, wait a second.

We haven't seen all of them.

She has a third??

That's doubtful.

But all we know about her is that she's a homely, arrogant moonbat who hates men and the Second Amendment, and who has freakish, grotesque tits.

Some guys, like stevenumbers, could overlook little flaws like that.
