More Americans Worse Off Financially Than a Year Ago
WASHINGTON, D.C. - More Americans, 42%, say they are financially worse off now than they were a year ago, reversing the lower levels found over the past two years. Just more than a third of Americans say their financial situation has improved from a year ago
These results come from Gallup's annual "Mood of the Nation" poll, conducted Jan. 5-8. Gallup has found that Americans' economic confidence, self-reported consumer spending, and perceptions of job creation improved in 2013. Despite Americans' more positive views of the overall U.S. economy in 2013, nearly two-thirds believe their personal financial situation deteriorated or was stable over the past year.
Though down from mid-2013, the percentage of Americans saying they are financially better off than a year ago is nearly in line with the historical average (38%), spanning 1976-2014. On the other hand, the share of Americans saying they are financially worse off compared with a year ago is, by historical standards, high -- eight percentage points above the average. The record high of 55% occurred in May and September 2008, the year (and, in the latter case, the month) of the global financial meltdown.

Of course it's our fault... everything is our fault. It's the rethuglicans or Bush's fault. Nothing will ever be Teh Ones fault. So ****ing ridiculous.
Just like the housing crash. There is documents going back to the 70's through the laws Clinton signed that paved the way for the housing crash. There is videos on Youtube of the evil rethuglicans telling the democrats that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac where in big trouble, and the democrats literally yelling at them about how crazy they were and the two government run mortgage companies where fine. This was years before the crash.

3. I'm treading water but losing to inflation
American wages are stagnant at best while benefits erode meanwhile companies make record profit and the stock market booms. I'm sick of doesn't trickle down economics.

The reason the DUmmies are yapping their gums about this crappy, "rethugican", economy is that there are no good talking points for Dims to counter the Koch boys and other RW PACs that are flooding MT, NC, WV, LA and other states with very vulnerable DIM Senators and Reps with ads about the utter failure of Obamacare and how these useful idiots all backed it and voted for it. It's killin' the Dims. Lots of them are running scared. Quite a few are starting to panic after seeing JAN Poll Numbers. Heck, even the Girl Senator from NC wouldn't be seen with Obama yesterday., but Bammy sent a big, wet verbal kiss to her in his speech. She probably cried herself to sleep last night. Other Dims that have their golden parachutes wrapped up tight are announcing retirement.
But the voters all know who is and has been in charge for the last five years and they won't forget by November. There are very few "safe" seats for the incumbent Dims. The delusional DUmmies are throwing whatever smelly piles they can come across at the walls hoping something might stick. Won't work. The voters are getting restless, change is in the air.
Its looking like another massacre (2012) shaping up for the Republicans in NOV.

To quote a very well read super something, blacks are worst off. The amount of employed blacks is at the lowest since being recorded. I believe it is somewhere around 38% of black males are employed. Yeah over 60% of black males are UNemployed. They will still all vote for a black donk no matter what their own situation is or how bad they are doing because...RACISM and racism only.
