I do not understand Kaput's position at all. Some of the DUmmies' hero politicians, staunch members of the democrat party, were Klan members.
DUmmies always speak fondly of Truman. Some have even spoken well of Senator Byrd, who even fillibustered against the civil rights act, and was for the Viet Nam war.
Liking democrat party members such as these, while condemning the KKK, is a bit of a contradiction. Isn't it Kaput?

Demoncrats are walking contradictions and also lack a basic understanding of history. Their new talking point is that all those racists Demoncrats abandoned the party and became Republicans during the Civil Rights Era. However, Ann Coulter thoroughly refuted those assertions in one of her books.

76. The Klan was always more closely associated with Dems than Republicans
As a party, we are always walking on really shaky ground when we discuss the KKK, especially in the South. Democrats in the South were the Segragationists until deep into the 1960s. And, as Byrd and Hollings attest, we still have remnants of that era on the national stage.
I mean, Al Gore probably has a closer "familial" connection to the Klan than most GOPers. His dad was trying to appeal to someone in 1964. So we shouldn't be bringing up this tar unless we want to get really really dirty ourselves.

I literally CAN NOT FATHOM what it must be like to be such a snivelling, cowardly worm. Can't wrap my brain around living a life built on existing, rather than one centered on doing. I wouldn't know how to, if all of a sudden I woke up one morning wanting to surrender my every responsibility as a child of God to... whomever.
Thus, as a consequence, I can see no "middle course" where such a mindset, such a way of living, and my own can coexist peacefully.
