Gary stands up in front of the Omaha Bryan High classroom. He is not here to talk about math or science or the dangers of driving while texting.
He is a contractor who long lived in Council Bluffs. Now in semi-retirement, he is an expert on a single subject.
“How many of you believe in Bigfoot?†he asks.
He looks around the room. One Bryan student tentatively raises his hand. And then a second, third and fourth.

...and that is why so few people are able to see them. If you are not a fully honest and truthful person, or if you are caught in the poisonous illusions of materialism -- so the oral teachings maintain -- you will not see him or any evidence of him. That's the only thing that would convince me that Bigfoot exists in reality. And I think it would be cool if there was a bipedal hairy creature living in North America.

I read this story in the newspaper this morning, and it never occurred to me to connect it with the big guy from Bellevue.

Hmmm.... very interestink!
Isn't Lloyd's of London offering $10 million for definite proof of a sasquatch? And there are at least 4 teams out in the Northwest, using different approaches to gather the evidence.
My money's on the team with the .50 caliber rifles.

They're never going to catch Sasquatch that way.
All they need to do to catch Sasquatch is put some mini-tacos under a big box, and then prop it up with a stick tied to a string.
Presto.

That would work for the Pygmy Sasquatch of Nebraska, a sub-species of the real deal in the Pacific Northwest.
Y'know, works at the Omaha PD, constantly sniffing around High School Girls Basketball bleachers, battling for the topside viewing seat on the Gravy Train Express Car (with free re-fills on iced tea!) in the quagmire that is Bellevue, NE city council elections, overly bloated midsection, no neck - just beard and one eyebrow.
