I Have a PayPal Account
I guess this could be considered my own fundraiser. From the input I have received from many of you (going to Ohio or New Mexico) it seems the best choice in this matter is for me to re-start my life in New Mexico. It will likely be a lot easier and less expensive. I don't want to be a burden on people or seem stubborn. But I am anxious to return to a "life". I'm sure you are aware of that. I have an offer for a housing situation from a wonderful DU'er and I have accepted.
Opposed to about $1200 to get to Ohio, its only about $580 to Albuquerque--not including gas or an overnighter somewhere.
So this is it. A fundraiser so I can get a truck to New Mexico. This is new to me so bear with me.
If anybody is able to help, please send me a message and I will tell you how to send to paypal. This is strictly for the truck, gas, and likely overnighter. From Nor-Cal its about 1300 miles. I haven't reserved truck yet, but will do so soon.
And again to all the DU'ers who have provided support during this crisis, the light at end that friggin tunnel is in sight. You guys and gals have been awesome. Your thoughts and prayers have been noted--including suggestions. Whatever you can contribute is greatly appreciated. Just message me. Bless you all.

This one has no shame. Instead of working a temp job for a few days or weeks, this schmuck has all hands out begging for freebies and cyber couch reservations. All this because it could not handle living for free at a woman "Tea Party" types apartment. A perfect democrat party representative we have here.

Well, Albuquerque is a good start for the deadbeat.
They have great Blue Sky crystal meth there.
More important, it's less than 500 miles from Tucson, where they give deadbeats free furnished apartments with appliances and a stocked refrigerator, and a free make-work job.

When you have a credit score of 10 it's hard to open a checking account, so I would guess PayPal would be difficult for these sooper geniuses.

The way I read this, we aren't talking mobile home type trailers. This is somebody's Airstream he's being evicted from, IMHO.
You know, it wasn't that long ago that my family and I were living out of a 12'x20' tent in a friend's back yard. We did 90 days there on one basic rule: be invisible, and you won't piss off the neighbors.

Best part about it, is that whenever a DUmbass tries the line that I "don't understand, because I've never been homeless/destitute/etc...", I can usually shut them down pretty quick. ("Wanna not be indigent? Bust your ass and live within your means.")

When I got to the new places, I simply slowly acquired new stuff that I needed.

I noticed that, and the questioning primitives are asking valid questions.
When I moved from New Jersey back to Nebraska, inbetweentimes I'd acquired a massive collection of books with which I was reluctant to part (I did part with them several years later, upon embarking for the socialist paradises).
I shipped them via the postal service, book-rate.
The recipient, who was to hold them for me, got a little yellow note in his mail-box, telling him there was a package waiting for him to be picked up. He went, and ooops, he had to go back home to borrow a pick-up truck.
On my way back here, I had not a care in the world, and a mostly-empty motor vehicle.
I think the primitive's too attached to his "things." He's got to learn to not be.
