From his wife Laurie via Facebook:
They took Chris to the OR to do his trach (tracheostomy), so they had to put him under. It is supposed to be more comfortable and more effective in O2 delivery.
He has only opened his eyes momentarily, with no recognition.
Thanks again from the bottom of my heart for all the prayers and well wishes.
Just FYI: Tracheostomies are done when the patient is going to be artificially ventilated for more than a few days. It is a lot easier on the throat and the vocal cords. He had already had one done back in 2004, during his long, severe illness then. You could see the scar in some of his pictures.

I had just turned 6 years old when old when I had one of those.....thank God daddy didn't have insurance ....or Medicaid or Obamacare . I might have died.

So, as DUmmies continue to drop like earwigs at a bug zapper, Elad sits on his lazy DUmmy ass, and the DUmp still doesn't have a Dead DUmmy forum.
Without that forum the dead DUmmies, like dead bugs, are simply swept off the edge of the patio and forgotten.
That may be appropriate treatment, but it sure doesn't enhance their entertainment value.
I hope the CalPig is really turning up the heat on Skimmer.

I do too.
However, the CalPig primitive, being a primitive, doesn't sit down and think things all the way through; she thinks only to a desired conclusion, and then stops thinking.
I have my own idea--and it's a perfectly credible idea--why my fellow alum Skins is balking on a forum for dead primitives, but obviously the CalPig primitive's without a clue.
