Hell yeah ... the ACA! (http://www.democraticunderground.com/10024270763)
Took my whole family to the dentist this morning for some cleanings. No co-pay. Pursuant to the ACA, all preventive medicine must be covered by most group health insurance plans (mercifully, we have one that falls under the ACA).
The law's not perfect, by a long shot, but we did make the United States a better place when we passed it, and I look forward to its ushering in a national, single-payer system as soon as we can pull it off.
My hat is off to my party and to President Barack Obama (both of whom I regularly criticize). Through the judicious use of the power of government to shape our collective experience, the lives of the American people have improved. I just experienced it for myself.
More specifics on dental and vision coverage can be found here: http://www.sibson.com/publications/HCRI/dec2010DV.pdf

The whole family in one morning? I call:

-
I had "free" cleanings before Obamacare.
-
Of course that greaseball is happy... he's getting free shit courtesy of the taxpayer.
That's his answer to everything. It requires no thought, only mindless reflex.

Cleaning, delousing . . . It's all covered now!

Until I see something to the contrary I will continue to believe he's a staffer for one of Georgia's Libtard Congresscritters....which means he's exempt from the ACA...he's still got his Cadillac plan. Hence the reason he got his whole family in this morning. That and the fact that most of D.C. is shut down and there were probably enough cancellations because of the snow to get seen that quickly.

No worries, Laelth--I too have "free" cleanings, and I didn't need daddy gub'mint to pay for it. Just me.

Me and Mrs Maxiest pay for our dental insurance. We get free cleanings. I guess maybe the exciting part is not having to pay? Enjoy your free cleanings on me.

DUmmies still have teeth ??????????????????????????????????????????

You mean Alan has a family and a wife?
Why does he mess around on singles sites so much?
-
DUmmies still have teeth ??????????????????????????????????????????
The meth must've left some behind.

DUmmies still have teeth ??????????????????????????????????????????
Some are still in the early stages of Meth abuse, and so may have a few teeth left...

Did my family yesterday. Of course my current insurance provides for cleanings. It's all part of the premium that I and the company I work at pay.

I don't see anything in your link misfit that supports your commentary here.

Good to see you!
I just found it ironic that because of the ACA/Obamacare, the DUmmy was able to schedule this on January 2nd. Hence the bouncy.

Not to worry, they only bitch about links at the DUmp, they don't actually read them.

That raised the flag for me. Well, other than it's this douchebag.
-
Formerlurker is right. The link does not support his commentary. In fact, right off the bat, it says,
"Plans providing insured dental and vision benefits are not subject to the Affordable Care Act."
If the story is true, his family got their cleanings regardless of obozocare. It's just normal insurance. Woo hoo!

As many of us predicted, the worse that the catastrophe of Obamacare appears, the more bouncy stories appear to champion its success.

But don't you see how they "stuck it to the man" ?

Again, as was pointed out elsewhere, "THEY?"
Seems as if there is a Mrs. Laelth, she might be a bit interested, and more than a little pissed, to find our boy trolling dating websites.

"They" being his whole family. Or are you insinuating that since the story is a bouncy that no one stuck it to anyone ?

Well, as a mathematician would say, this is a binary solution set; either 1--he's lying about having a family and the bouncy is FOS, or 2--he's lying to his family by trolling on singles sites for a new squeeze.
But either way, he's lying, so there's that.

Ah, so he's sticking it to his family.
At least he is sticking it to someone.
I just wish it was the "man".
The "man" being...owebuma.

The "man" can only be a "white" man. Thus, O'bungo is only half a man or, 3/5ths. I'm not sure which.
