The release of the latest Nike Air Jordan sneaker brought out throngs of crowds across the country and several brawls broke out, too.

Video making the rounds online taken at a shoe store in Stockton, California, shows various fist fights erupting, apparently over the Gamma Blue 11s.

Tempers wore thin after some shoppers waited hours for a chance to buy a pair. The sneakers went on sale on Friday night.

Sad testament to society. Michael Jordan does not even play basketball anymore.

I heard some woman is suing Nike over the way they do limited releases of their shoes.  Her son was killed last year or something when one of their models were put out for sale.
