Never was about the right to protect oneself from a tyrannous government.

Look, there are essentially two avenues of approach when dealing with those who extort control over you. One is to appeal to their logic that it won't be beneficial for them to continue to oppress you. The second is that you will resort to violence if the first avenue fails to free you of your yoke and the armament of the individual to the highest degree possible puts "teeth" into an otherwise empty threat.

Especially if taxes go up.

Plus, this guy still has his license to kill. I'm not going to question that kind of credential.  :bow:

After reading that thread I have decided to form a militia.  That way no one can complain about the word militia being used in there anymore.  Anyone of any race, gender, ethnicity, sexual preference, age, body form, or health is welcome to join.

It figures that  the ones making the biggest noise about taking guns away are the first to march in  goosestepping to the very things the murderous thugs of the past and present did first to keep power. Take the guns away from the people that posed the  biggest threat to thier dictatorships. How do any of these people manage to wake up and not kill themselves walking across the street everyday?

He insteaded responded to me by cursing me and telling me that if our country went to hell it would be me and all the damn liberals in this country who don't believe in Jesus and God.

I told him that he needed help and that if he harrassed me anymore I'd call the liberal police. He then drove away....

I was shaking....I have never had a confrontation like that before. I'd never think of driving up to a big Ford Extinction with big "W" stickers on it (hey, I even occassionally see Melanie Morgan, a neighbor here locally who drives her SUV with her big patriotic flag stickers and God Bless W all over it) and shout out anything to them, even if I feel sick when I see them and especially Melanie Morgan.

Anyone else had any weird aggressive confrontations like this lately? What's even more shocking is this happening here in Marin of all places, a very liberal part of California. Is this a sign of what that "Uniter Mr. Bush" is doing to this country?

Very sad indeed...but I'm not going to let this stop me from expressing my opinion publicly or removing my stickers on my car. But it is frightening to me that someone like that would be aggressive and angry like that to a mom with her baby and label me and call me names. What's next? People getting violent on their fellow neighbors and citizens?

One time, a year or two ago, I was driving to Borders and after I turned right onto the road that leads to Borders, someone in a red car pulled up next to me signaling to roll down my window and I thought, maybe I have a flat tire or something so I obliged and he shouted  something unintelligible and I checked my rear view mirror to make sure the back of my car wasn't on fire or something to help me decode his yell and my eyes alighted upon my very tattered W 04 oval that I only keep on my car to incite moonbats and as he sped off leering manically, I decoded what he had shouted seconds before as, "Bush sucks!"

I kind of shrugged and thought, "well that's why I keep that tattered old sticker on my car." and pulled into Borders and forgot all about it until now.

I don't think I am hard of hearing or anything but sometimes people say something to me and if there is some white noise, like the rush of wind through an open car window, it seems like it takes my mind a few seconds to decode what they say.  I am always amazed when that happens as in the first few seconds I am sure I haven't heard what they said and then somehow my mind puts it together.  Amazing thing, the mind.
