That kind of looks like Monica Lewinski. Its not. There is no stain on the blue part of the dress.

You need to, at the very least, look for a grumpy dwarf t shirt.
You know, arms all folded gangsta style, glaring at you out of the corner of his little dwarf eyes.
I got one the last time I was at DW, I liked it so much that I rendered it to flinders by just wearing it.
Have a great time, Mr. Mannn, and take lots of pictures to share with us! Won't it be nice to eat something besides microwaved, freeze dried food? :-)I'll try with the pictures. No camera at the moment.
Have a wonderful vacation Mr Mannn! :yahoo:I promise I will find a way to get some pics. But this is a solo trip, so I most likely will not be in them.
Please do share pics with us.
That does look somewhat shabby.I don't know. they could be great big stickers on the wall.
Are those solid headboards fixed to the bed frame or are they just hung on the wall like pictures?
You have GOT to be kidding me about them using a plastic curtain for a bathroom door. They should be ashamed of themselves, calling themselves a hotel and all. Unacceptable!Kinda hard to believe, aint it?
This is my hotel...the Art of Animation resort. I don't get spiffy boat rides, just bus service. But it'll do.

I got this one for Sparky when we went in July:

:-)
Its not my fault. Some one posted a Disney vacation thread in this very forum and lit a fuse under me.
I had to do it too.
I went to Dis Boards http://www.wdwinfo.com/chat.htm because I saw that forum in the previous thread.
Its a real help to planning things...but its members are Disney nuts who all seem to have annual passes.
Right now on Dec 14th, it is 80 degrees. 68 was the low.
I'm about 5 years too early. Avatar Land is being built right now in Disney's Animal Kingdom park.
and Star Wars Land is going to open around that time in Disney Hollywood Studios park.
anyways I'm staying in a "budget" Disney Hotel, for $118 bucks a night. I could have gotten another hotel in Orlando for like $60 a night, but car rental and $15 bucks a day parking at the parks evens it all out. With Disney, transportation is free. There are fancier hotels...but why? I'm only gonna be sleeping there.
--So bottom line: Disney gets 100% of my vacation dollar: food, lodging, and fun.
Oh yes the hotel. Its theme is the last few cartoon blockbusters from Disney. I'm not in the Cars wing...no I reserved late, so I got the girly Little Mermaid room. Still, there is a 40 food statue of the Little Mermaid. I wanted a boobs level room (the "shells suite." I can't afford that), but I'm in the head. I have to open her eyes if I want to look out. I wonder if I can dump garbage out her nose...
The package just for me was $1200. Not bad. I'm going solo so it should be a real easy pace. I hate to say, I have bigger plans to eat very well over there, I got the Disney dining plan and I get a free restaurant dinner and a quick service meal every day. And one snack a day is free too.
--I will eat like a king!
There is some weird service where you can get your picture taken with an animated character, like a teeny tiny Tinkerbell perched in your hand. If I can get them to let pose like I'm about to swat her with a rolled up newspaper, I'll post it here.
May I recommend the "It's a Small World" ride?I hate that ride. I have no idea why it hasn't been torn down. No need to duck. Its the only ride you will find with no lines on a busy day. The only reason I would go would be to make out with a hot date, but I'm 55 and the super models are a bit scarce these days.
*ducks*
I have never been to any of the disney/universal parksLuckily they're not free, yet.
Luckily they're not free, yet.
Otherwise they would be inundated with libs like you.
I'm not a lib. Never been, never will be.Libs rely on strong feelings, rather than fact. It's a big part of what makes a lib a lib.
I have a strong feeling you are one though.
I'm just trying to step up my game.
You need to try a lil harder. So far you're failing miserably.
May I recommend the "It's a Small World" ride? The Orlando Small World sucks donkey balls compared to ours in Anaheim. It looks like something from a midway at a carnival rather than a Disney attraction. Same for their Pirates of the Caribbean in Orlando.
*ducks*
OK, got me a toy for the trip, a tablet. Its got wifi internet, reading apps like Kindle in it, and it can take pictures and video. Its a 7" Samsung Galaxy Tab3. There is a Disney app where I can manage my Fast Pass, and dinner reservations, so it's going into the parks with me. I got a case for it, earphones and I'm going to wear a safari vest with huge pockets to keep it in (no backpacks or fanny packs for me!).
I'll bounce a few test photos off you guys before I go.
Just so ya know, I've never ever owned a cell phone. So this is all new to me. Y'all might be old pros at this, but I'm a caveman with all this new fangled stuff. Just opened the box, we'll see what happens. Probably needs charging up first.
I'll be damned if I ain't the last great holdout on cell phones
I really believe Small World should be torn down. Why it is still up in both parks is beyond me.

Last two times I visited DW (FL), 1996 and 2006, there were lines to get into Small World. Actually stood in one in '06 because I was with others who wanted to go.20,000 leagues was one of my favorite rides at Disney. I remember looking at that Jules Verne novel when I was in grade school along with the Hardy Boys and others.
I don't suppose they'll remove it as long as people will line up for it. Or until they have something better to put in the slot. As far as I know, 20,000 Leagues was the only popular ride to be removed and left barren for some time, and that was for (alleged) maintenance issues. It had just been removed in '96, and was empty except for a "cast mamber" portraying the little mermaid sitting on (in) a "rock" in a "grotto" in '06.
The alarm is set. The cab is going to be here an hour later. The bags are backed. The tablet in my coat pocket.
I'm ready. I would appreciate prayers for a safe trip, and that I don't attract TSA attention.

You will hear that song over, and over and over, and over......................

and that I don't attract TSA attention.
I hope you don't get a surprise prostate exam at the airport. :lmao:
Oh, and I did attract TSA interest. Both times that patted down my right leg. Don't know what triggered it. But it was the same leg both times.
So. I've been to all four parks. Ask me anything.
The same leg? Hm, is that the way you hang?Well, I didn't want to brag.
If you went to Whispering Canyon ... did you ask for ketchup?I ended up canceling my reservation. My feet were KILLING me that day. I did find out what would happen on DisBoards: The waiters scream, "Ketchup!" and a 100 bottles are delivered to your table. I was so worn out, that I was in no mood for shenanigans. Room service brought Pizza and wings instead.
Inquiring minds want to know.

I got back late last night. I'm still dead tired. Had fun. No pictures though. The **** tablet stopped working.
I did have fun. My feet are killing me. I ate well, but Disney restaurants are not as awesome as I was led to believe. The Kona Kafe in the Polynesian Resort is nothing more than a glorified Deney's.
There was one place at Downtown Disney I ate at, that did something weird to me-something you probably won't want to know. I'll only tell you if you want to know.
The weather was hot/humid the first two days, and the last two days it was cold and wet. One day was my Hollywood Studios/return to Epcot day. It was 44 degrees and had a serious windchill. I made a point to ride Universe of Energy with Ellen Degenerus...its the longest sit down ride at Disney, 45 minutes of warmth and off your feet comfort. No seat belts of coaster thrills...just a silly dinosaur ride.

Lions awake when you went to Animal Kingdom? b/c they usually go to sleep about 8:45 AM...I have never ever seen the lions awake. I think they are stuffed and just rearranged every day/Disney magic.
Also, did you try the bio tour in Epcot? The boat sucks but the walking tour is great. No, I took the boat only. The quick service Sunshine Seasons Food Court is wonderful! I enjoyed it more than the Beirgarten restaurant at the Germany pavilion. Sunshine has "Slow Roasted Pork Chop with Cheddar Mashed Potatoes." The chop like melted in my mouth! It was GREAT! Where else are you gonna get a pork chop in a fast service place?
I also assume you did Soarin? Last time I went I actually cried b/c I was homesick for L.A...Yes, I did Soarin. I had a fast pass for it and still stood in line for 40 minutes.
