Really nice to see Laura and GW in attendance with the US delegation at the Mandela memorial service
Right now I feel proud of all those who attended this service from the US. The Carters hold a very special place in my heart. I love this family!

Let me say in case things get distorted down the road, Bush lead us into financial ruin, and he used the events of 9/11 to lead us into an unnecessary war with Iraq - a war that has lead to the deaths of many many civilians. He allowed torture and even acts approaching genocide. His increase of the surveillance state is reprehensible. Suffice it to say I'm not a fan of Bush.

that he did a nice thing, because I think this is an occasion that he had to attend. Given his lack of compassion and empathy (Katrina) I think the only reason he showed up is to make himself look good.
I'm not looking to argue with you. I just don't know that he's capable of 'nice' for the right reasons.
