Next RW boycott targets: Tide and Downy
They're running a series of commercials featuring a (gasp!) stay-at-home dad who (OMG!) stays at home to raise his child while (blasphemy!) his WIFE goes out to earn the family's daily bread.

I already use tide.
I need to get more though. Cute commercials though.
Why I use it? It kept grimy EMS uniforms clean, and trust me, a few of those stains were nasty.
You betcha! Nasty stains! Nutcase nadin was on the front lines, shootouts, bleeding banditos, bullets whizzing past!

Actually, what's going on is she thinks we're boycotting Tide and Downy because that's what a primitive would do.
The cousin needs reminded that no, we don't think and act as primitives, and it's really stupid of her to ascribe feelings and motives to us that primitives have, as we don't.

In this case, one's compelled to give the credence to the defrocked warped primitive; she probably has more experience in gore and stuff than the cousin does, given that she was once really a nurse while the cousin's lived a life of Vlada Mittyesque fantasy.

Nah, if I remember correctly it was a small fingernail trimmer and the air valve from an inner tube that she acquired from a lawn tractor.

You may recall from a couple of years ago, the nutcase explained to us how she always carried a Bowie knife in her boot for performing emergency surgeries in the field while under hostile fire.
In mexico, the same instrument is used routinely by real surgeons, but the treatment is free.

Naw dummie. Let me 'splain it to you Lucy. Most of us evil RightWingers own stock. Ya all said it yourself. Both of those companies are in the large cap category so most prudent evil RightWingers, such as myself, own their stock either out right or thru mutual funds. So why would we boycott some company that makes us money? Sounds like smart marketing to me.

Just so you know dummie... I don't care if a company is run by flaming homos in drag and the employees spend their lunch break having butt sex. As long as they make me money and it ain't illegal, I don't care. They make me money, I'll invest. They don't, I won't. For that matter... I'll invest in MSNBC and the NY Times if they make me money.
