How will you spend Thanksgiving?
How will you spend Thanksgiving? Like any normal day? Will you travel or stay home? Will you spend it with family, in-laws or friends?
My partner (I dislike the term, but prefer to wait to call him 'husband' until we are married when it is legal where we live) and I will be staying home. His supportive parents will be coming to visit to enjoy a meal that he will prepare. He loves to cook! My parents, who live much closer, ignored the invitation to come over. My sister responded to my invitation, but declined, saying that I was free to see her at my parents' house. Oh well. We will have a nice holiday regardless.

4. Alone and away from cancervative family.
For that i am thankful.
The family's probably thankful too; the dinner table's no place to discuss sex.
But that's all gays are willing to discuss.

5. I'm going to have a nice quiet evening with some turkey thighs.
Living alone with no dependents, it would take a month for me to eat a whole turkey. So of course a whole turkey is what a local church gave me -- which I donated to ANOTHER local church!

8. Visiting my wife's [sic] family. Most of them are apolitical, and completely cool with us.
The ones who are political are liberal or moderate. The only conservative of the bunch is basically a RINO. Not sure why he votes republican, sadly other than racism.

10. Hanging out at the ex's house with the cats
The place was just landscaped too. I've a mind to send a FB message to a niece and ask if her mom (my older sister) is going to ever contact me again.

11. This is my first big holiday since my eloved passed this last spring
Two weeks ago, mom announced she was moving in with me. (Uhhh, okay...) She requested some turkey breast so I've been up since oh-dark-thirty preparing a repast which we'll share shortly.
There's no letup in the stress and adjustments this year. I've decided I'm dragging out all the holiday decorations and will be dolling up the house later. I need that, need to immerse in good memories now to brace for the next difficult year. Mom's very frail and might not be around for the next holidays. We'll spend some time to make friends in the meantime.

There is no way a man can have a husband, by definition to be a husband you need to have a wife. I get sick of having to redefine everything just to make a select group of people happy. The words husband, wife, and marriage have a specific meaning that has been around for thousands of years, now all of a sudden we have to change the meanings just to make a few malcontents happy.

I always thought it hilarious, in the "relationship" between Big Bertha and her "wife."
In that association, Big Bertha's the "husband."
But while Big Bertha seems to enjoy the title, she's sure not willing to take on the responsibilities of a husband, to protect, defend, and secure.
Remember the mouse that frightened her "wife".....and her, too?
Big Bertha's lousy at playing the role.

Mice and bugs terrify democrat men, as well.
