Everything is BOLD on my screen. I haven't changed anything and the rest of my web pages look normal. What's going on?!

Mine is too. Though I have to say I do prefer t, makes for easier reading.
-
How about now? Hasn't changed for me. If it did, I know what caused it and will rectify.

My lettering is bold, I like it.

I don't mind the bold but you can't bold other things .... it doesn't show up.

an unterminated font tag?
Would that make the entire site bold? It is everything in bold .... not just the posts.

I believe it happened around the time the "Stop the Fairness Doctrine!" banner was introduced.

That would do it, I'm just wondering why it didn't happen to me. It's the same.

some themes acted better than others. I suspect a lot of them have a <p> (or some such) somewhere at the beginning, which would pretty much reset font characteristics.

and it seemed to be worse in IE than firefox, for some reason.

It was bold on my screen, too, but now it's normal again.

I was missing a </strong> close tag. Odin was using the same one I was using, the default. I don't understand why my machine was never affected.

I thought that may have been it, only because I did the same thing with a different font attribute in the footer one night. :-)
I looked at different combinations; different browsers and different themes had different results. but also, it seems
like there is an option under tools --> content where you can disallow the page from changing the fonts that you have
set. that might have something to do with the different symptoms that we saw.

So did you guys work all this out?
:-)

Everything is OK for me -- no undesired bolding.
