Post by: Skul on November 29, 2013, 09:19:50 AM
This one has potential to grow through out the day.
Naturally, the lies and BS flow freely.

Here's to Wal Mart employees union astro-turfers across the country!

Many of whom know that by walking off the job today will loose their job that illegal retaliation against them by their managers and corporate lawyers will be swift and unjust.

It takes courage and conviction to put your economic well-being on the line so that your brothers and sisters may have an equitable work enviornment.

There are many actions across the country beginning this morning joined by organized labor and concerned activists in solidarity to bear witness to the right of employees to organize fairly and justly.

To the Wal Mart employees union astro-turfers of North America: we are 100% behind you! Typed from the comfort of a warm basement. :lmao:

2. As a former Walmart employee, I wonder what got you fired??

I stand in solidarity with all those finally taking a stand against Walmart's greed. Never mind, now I know.

6. I won't be crossing that picket line - I will, if there's one there...which I doubt.

whether locally or on-line.

Anything we need can be found elsewhere or we don't need it that bad.

Solidarity.
There's a WalMart five miles or so down the road.
<<<<Wasn't planning on going out today.  Might just do it, now.
I'll bet there's not a single union astro-turfer around.

If they want Wal-Mart to crash and burn, they should put Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid in charge.

If you put them in charge of the Sahara Desert there would be a shortage of sand within the a year.

Coffee is almost gone. Time to wander down to the WalMart, and see if there are any astro-turfers around.
If there are, I'll go in and buy something. Anything.
Should I wear my Teamsters cap?  :???:  :whistling:

That was a disappointment.
No union agitators, no union paid protestors.
More cars in the lot than what I'm used to seeing.
Bums me out, man.  :bawl:

I even took my freaking camera!

Last night, my father went to go pick up a television that was on sale for an hour at Walmart.

He didn't see any protesters, and the Walmart employees were cheerful and courteous.

I was just at Walmart to pick up some epoxy to fix a car part for someone.

I didn't see any protesters, and the Walmart cashier was both professional and courteous.

You're right, Karin.  I didn't even think about that!  Nuts!

Actually, I was hoping there would be protesters.  If there isn't a mob of them, I'm not afraid to stop and engage.

Didn't wish to appear too conspicuous.

I suppose the distance at which you 'engage' depends on which firearm you've got at the time . . .

As a continuing WalMart customer, I stand in solidarity with all WalMart customers across the country.

We were in the local WalMart yesterday (after eating out in a restaurant where we were greeted pleasantly, served graciously, and left full and satisfied with the service and the food), spoke with a couple of WalMart workers who where smiling and jovial as they prepared for the various sales event that were about to start.

My wife went again today to buy a bunch of movies.

No one yelled at either of us, or asked our political, religious, or union affiliation.  We were checked out speedily and without fanfare or police jumping out of the bushes.

I also went to the gym, which had six tv sets going, and no one complained about what was on - they just merrily enjoyed their time on the various cardio equipment.

No labels on the packaging, you have to buy it to see what's in it.

Spoiled and rotten for sure then.
