Whether we like it or not – and we don’t – there’s a significant chance that Chris Christie will be the 2016 Republican nominee. Perhaps he can use a few helpful hints from the GOP’s Tea Party/Constitutional Conservative/Actual Conservative wing.
Let’s start by establishing a baseline: We don’t like you and we don’t trust you.
Now, that’s not a deal breaker. You feel the same way about us. There is nothing that says we conservatives can’t grow to like and/or trust you. Maybe we just got off on the wrong foot. So, in that spirit, let’s share our feelings.
We feel you’re in it for yourself and that if you get elected your administration will be a festival of squishiness that would make George W. Bush look like Ted Cruz.
Getting up to talk about Mitt Romney and talking about yourself? Classless. Getting in a micturition contest with conservative warrior Rand Paul? Lame. And don’t delude yourself that we are mad because you hugged the President on the eve of the election. Our beef was your evident glee, as if you were publicly repudiating our imagined “irrational hatred.†We had beefs with Mitt Romney, but we respected him as a decent man and we saw your act as a cheap backstab designed to promote yourself when he needed you most.
Hey, you’re from Jersey. You can handle this real talk, right?
We think that you think we’re stupid. Call it a feeling or a vibe, but we are used to a certain class of Republican acting as if conservatives are drooling morons. Inevitably, these same GOP geniuses are the ones who prattled on and on about the electability of McCain and Romney. Note that they’re also giddy about you.

This guy hits the nail squarely on its head. Personally, I can't stand Christie. Far more than just a RINO, he's an egotistical blowhard whose narcissism is rivaled only by Barry's.
There's absolutely no question why Christie is being touted as the Great GOP Candidate of 2016 -- because he'll be shot down faster than the Hindenburg went down in his own home state lo those many years ago.
Come to think of it, he's just about as big as the Hindenburg too...

I still don't think he's gonna make it to the nomination.
He's got too many skeletons in his closet from when he ws a Federal prosecutor and with his family getting in trouble with the law to allow him to ever win...no matter what Benedict Rove and his whiteboard say.
And in a national election Christie's "f*ck you" Tony Soporano routine will sink faster than the Obamacare website.
The media and the establishment are setting this doughnut eating f*ckstick up for failure the same way they did McCain. The media LOVED him right up until he got the nomination. Then they kneecapped him.

I will not vote for that libtard son of a bitch. I will not vote dem or 3rd party, either, but I will not have that ****head run down my throat.

The RNC is sure gonna do their best to make you bend over and take it...again.

A lot of conservative agree. But Allen West is the best alternative. We need to work on the primaries.

I agree with your assessment of him, but the reason his name is being booted around so much isn't just because those secretly (Or not) rooting for the Democrats think he'd get bitchslapped so handily in the general election. A significant part of the GOP is the same DC-to-Boston Northeast-corridor Ivy League smarterer-than-everyone-else people who own the Dem leadership, who share almost all the same values with those Dem leaders except they are more invested in private enterprise and paying fewer taxes. These are the guys who own whatever allegedly-Conservative mainstream press there may be (Mainly FOX, the DC Times, and NR). And so, they also control the mikes, and what they put out is also the inputs to the rest of the MSM on 'What those damned Republicans are doing.' The media is kind of an inbred self-pollinator that thinks Philadelphia is somewhere out around Chicago, and is basically devouring their own waste and spewing it back out on this.

Save your money Christie.....ain't gonna happen.

I don't pay a lot of attention to Ann Coulter (because she does a magnificent job in selling herself and her books, rather than espouse a conservative philosophy), but it would be interesting to gauge what she and Krauthammer and Rove and the rest of the DC-to-Boston Northeast-corridor Ivy League smarterer-than-everyone-else GOP jugheads spew on Christie.
It's still way, way early for virtually any candy-date and besides the points you're making and the setup that sure to happen (Christie getting kneecapped should he even come close to getting the nomination), I see the whole Christie thing as being just One Great Big Trial Balloon, aka the Hindenburg.
Christie, a classic gas-filled douchebag, will probably explode of its own volition, but it's still fun watching the all-too-predictable media circus at play.

The RNC is sure gonna do their best to make you bend over and take it...again.
Then for the first time in my adult life, I will leave the spot for President/Vice President blank.

I'm calling it now--if he's the nominee, I'm staying home.
Flame on, bitches. He's not worth the effort.

No flames, but I will go to the polling place because the other elections matter...I'll just be leaving the box next to his name blank.
