A new and independent analysis of ObamaCare warns of a ticking time bomb, predicting a second wave of 50 million to 100 million insurance policy cancellations next fall -- right before the mid-term elections.
The next round of cancellations and premium hikes is expected to hit employees, particularly of small businesses. While the administration has tried to downplay the cancellation notices hitting policyholders on the individual market by noting they represent a relatively small fraction of the population, the swath of people who will be affected by the shakeup in employer-sponsored coverage will be much broader.
An analysis by the American Enterprise Institute, a conservative think tank, shows the administration anticipates half to two-thirds of small businesses would have policies canceled or be compelled to send workers onto the ObamaCare exchanges. Under the health care law, businesses with fewer than 50 workers do not have to provide health coverage. But if they do, the policies will still have to meet the benefit standards set by ObamaCare.

Like I really needed an excuse to vote against the Dems.
I hope Carol Che-Pelosi is reading this. That mouth-breather chained her wagon to Bodaprez, and she should take the fall with it too, regardless of whether or not she crossed party lines to vote in favor of the bill that just passed the House.
Psst--Carol--we see what you're doing there, and we ain't buying it.

This shouldn't be a surprise to any thinking person. Obama and Co. has never had any intention of supplying us with affordable health care. It's just another Marxist scam to take over 1/5th of the economy. Obamacare is nothing more than a Trojan horse. It's only a means to an end, or as Alinsky put it; "the end justifies the means, which of course is the government owned and operated, one payer system.

I haz duh solution: In the future send all your medical bills to leading democrat politicians/president/DNC.....they want to take care of you so let them pay your healthcare bills.

Almost 80 million with employer health care plans could have coverage canceled, experts predict

Almost 80 million people with employer health plans could find their coverage canceled because they are not compliant with ObamaCare, several experts predicted.
Their losses would be in addition to the millions who found their individual coverage cancelled for the same reason.
Stan Veuger of the American Enterprise Institute said that in addition to the individual cancellations, "at least half the people on employer plans would by 2014 start losing plans as well." There are approximately 157 million employer health care policy holders.
Abysmal Care Act is hazardous to your health.

Company insurance policies renew at different times. I imagine people will loose their company insurance all year long. Add that to people trying to set up medical appointments, only to find longer wait times, paperwork screw ups etc., I see 2014 as being a very confusing year for a vast majority of people.

My good retired brother in law told me Sunday that his company insurance that he has for retirement has been canceled as of January 1, 2014. Him and sister both have a lot of health issues and getting health insurance as good as what he had is going to cost them a
small large fortune.
Thank you Mr. Obama, may I have another.

The Oministration thinks they have defuzed the electoral impact of this by kicking the implementation date to slightly past the election in 2014, but what will actually happen is that most of the insurers and businesses will have to provide around 60 days advance notice (Or more), of the changes whether as a matter of state employment law, bargained contract, or just sound business practice. These cancellations are going to be right up in voters' faces on Election Day, regardless of the stupid delay tactic.

And then around July or so, they'll just find another reason to extend it until the summer of 2015.

A woman on FOX was talking about her families insurance going up almost $800 a month. She said that the insurance (over $1200) is more than her house payment. She also gave a list of things they will have to give up in order to be able to afford the new premium.
People spending less on other things to pay for higher medical insurance/care is going to make a large impact on our economy. If people have to spend less on entertainment, restaurants, personal or household items, gifts etc, it's going to have a negative effect on small businesses and we'll see higher unemployment and fewer people paying into they system.

People will soon have many reasons to extend the middle finger to Obama and the democrats. I'd like to extend some rusty barbed wire fence wrapped around a large fence post where the Obama boy toy Reggie has been.
Wonder if Reggie has to do Moochelle too?

But most larger companies do open enrollment in the October-November timeframe. Imagine a couple of weeks before the election, millions (TENS of millions) of people are told, "Gee, sorry, you're SOL!"
It'll make 1994 look like child's play.

call me cynical, but I can see dear leader issuing an executive order prohibiting insurance companies from sending out any cancellation notices 180 days prior to January 1, 2014 regardless of when the policy in question is set to lapse.

The Department of Labor already tried that and got slapped down by the court.

Obummer thinks he is above the Judicial and legislative branch so he will just ignore a court ruling.

And how many times has he been held in Contempt of court or had an action found unconstitutional? He doesn't care about the courts, except when he wants to pack them with as many liberals as possible.

If that happens( and I say If because I still have doubts for some reason) there wont be a hole deep enough for Democrats to hide under.
Forget flipping the Senate, we may be talking about veto-proof majorities in both chambers if that happens.
Can you imagine getting veto-proof majorities in both chambers and then repealing Obamacare with Obama in office? God that would be the best day ever........
