If you want to spread holiday cheer this season, simply talk about healthcare with your family. That's the advice made readily available for you on President Obama's website and Facebook page.
"This holiday season, millions of Americans have a chance to get quality, affordable health insurance—many for the first time. If you have family members who are uninsured, you can play a big part in helping them find coverage that works for them. It might not always seem like it, but your family listens to you. So have the talk."
There's even detailed instructions on how to cover the topic with that cranky uncle that you only see once a year.
"Are your family members traveling home for the holidays? There are a few things they’ll need to sign up for health coverage. Make sure they bring the following items with them before they head home."
It tells you what to have your family members bring home over the holidays, like their W-2s, Social Security card and more.
That could lead to some awkward conversation. "Can't wait to see you Aunt Mary. I hope you'll be bringing your famous egg nog. Say, why don't you bring your W-2s too!"
There's also a section where you can sign a pledge to agree to talk to your family, and even some helpful hints on how to start the conversation.
Here's a video they are using to promote the "holiday talk."

I'm sure there will be a lot of "holiday" Obamacare discussion. Just not the kind the Liar In Chief wants to hear.
-
Desperation
-
Pass the gravy and the talking points!
-
I'd rather eat pure salmonella spread on my dressing than discuss Obamacare during Thanksgiving/Christmas. Any one bring it up for discussion and I'm gonna hit them up side the head with an overdone turkey leg.
You know something, they're getting to me.....I almost typed holidays instead of Thanksgiving/Christmas.
-
Sounds like a good way to get the cranberry sauce dumped on yourself :whistling:

It shall be "bouncy" galore at the DUmp...can't believe that the Obumbler administration is actually encouraging bouncy stories.

I've always used "holiday", even before it became PC. For me it means the period between Thanksgiving and New Years.

With all those conversions, we should expect to see O-care's enrollment numbers rise in January.
:lmao:

This is particularly galling in my humble opinion:

Jeez, is this the Soviet Union? :mental: :banghead:

Aw come on, it's not like their asking you to turn them in to DHS.
-
Words fail me. Sign a pledge? :thatsright:
I'd love to see this get massively mocked on twitter.
-
Who was it in the Bible that slew a few with the jawbone of an ass?
I can see the headline now, "DUmmie slays family with turkey leg when family refuses to discuss Obamacare."
-
President Obama wants you to spread
Fixed, for clarity.

Fixed, for clarity.
...and maybe it's clinch instead of glitch.....you know, to tighten things up for the bug raping needle peter Obama crowd.
-
Oh our family will be talking about it alright...
-
Must be an idea for one of those DUmmie family gatherings.
-
Oh, how I wish my little bro would come down from Connecticut. He was on facebook pimping Ocare. It would be so great to see him running back and forth trying to get his talking points from moveon.org.

DUmmies have families? I thought their new mantra was "The State is Mother. The State is Father." :thatsright:
-
Let's talk about owebumacare in the octagon.
-
I see some ambulance calls for some of my friends families in the coming holidays if this gets discussed at the dinner table. hehe cant wait! :fuelfire:

This sounds like the best way possible to get food airborne with my family. We run the whole gamut politically from left to right but for heaven's sake - Thanksgiving and Christmas are for family, love, and sharing. Bullshit propaganda can get thrown around on any of the other days we have.

So far so good, we went to my wife's mom's house for Thanksgiving. Everyone is pretty much of a conservative bent on that side, so no sideshows. Near the end, the firefighter BIL was discussing how meals on wheels and the toys for tots programs are abused by the locals in the area. General annoyance was displayed by all with the actions of these horrible takers. Lack of shame is also a trait of those of a certain political persuasion.

On our way to deliver cookies to 4 ERs in the eastern part of Missouri, we got a call to pick up a STEMI patient and take them to the area's best STEMI hospital. So we will have to deliver the cookies tomorrow. But once we got our patient safely delivered, we got invited to a firehouse for a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. Unintentionally the best Thanksgiving...ever.

I'm glad you had a great thanksgiving bud...saw another thread where you were working and thought your thanksgiving was all work.

Thanks, and we did get the cookies delivered the next day. No job too small. I just hope drones don't take our jobs away.
