Boycott Bolthouse Farms!
.....Yet another nothing boycott by the DUmmies. Organic farmer sells a good product. Organic farmer is a Christian. Organic farmer is against gay marriage. A dozen DUmmies are going to boycott and put him out of business. However, the money-shot is this quote from their boycott email:
We know that many progressive people are concerned about what they put in their bodies, and we wanted to let you and your friends know that the organic juice you maybe enjoying could be helping to strip the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people the right to marry in California.
Please take a moment and let Bolthouse Farms and their distributors know that you will no longer be purchasing their organic products, because even though they are organic, they come with some nasty side effects.
I wonder how many of the progressives are going to be able to see the correlation between the nasty side effects and the various organic things they have allowed to be introduced into their bodies.
edited by franksolich to add name of primitive originally posting this on Skins's island

We know that many progressive people are concerned about what they put in their bodies
Except when it's the sex organs of random strangers. Concern goes right out the window.

The bold in red above now compels me to buy his stuff. It's for sale in the supermarket that's 300 yards from my apartment. I used to get the Bolthouse smoothies, but I stopped. Gotta change that.
H5 for the catch, and welcome, newbie!

Looks like I've found a new company to patronize. :-)

Ya know something? I wonder if Rush would mention this on his show--that the DUmmies are trying to "boycott" Bolthouse Farms for this. I'm sure that the owner would appreciate the publicity.

The Super Target I work for sells quite a few Bolthouse Farms products. They're quite good and now I have another reason to continue buying them!

I agree. It would definitely get the attention of people who don't normally go organic, and the pro-life crowd.
I'll be near the Whole Foods today...think I'll stop and pick up some of their cranberry lemonade and a couple of smoothies. :-)

I use their stuff. I had no idea. Good for them. I'll buy more.

Reading the DUmp thread, it would appear that the Bolthouses who are opposed to gay marriage are no longer the owners of Bolthouse Farms, and thus both the DUmmy boycott and any conservative support would be useless.
Not as though a DUmmy boycott would have the slightest bit of effect anyway.

Thank you for the welcomes and sorry about not including the original message header. EastFacingNorth, you are correct that apparently the original Bolthouses are no longer directly involved with the company. Not sure if they still have a financial interest, but it's not like the DUmmies are going to affect it one way or the other. What really strikes me about that thread is the typical hypocrisy over there. Disagree with the politics of someone slightly right of Stalin and choose not to buy their products and you're a Patriot. Disagree with the politics of the Dixie Chicks and choose not to buy their products and you are a Fascist. Gotta love how they cherish free speech.

Not to worry, Bama, sir; it's just a minor technicality.
We want primitives to come over here to get enlightened about themselves, but the primitives being narcissists, look around only for things with their own name on it.
When one includes the name of the original poster, the primitive's name shows up in Google searches.
By the way, are you Alabama or Auburn?

Neither, but don't tell my neighbors. LOL. I'm originally from Upstate New York. My work brought me down here. BamaMoose evolved from a series of nicknames I've had over the years.
However, you may find it interesting (or you may ban me) to know that I'm a very distant relative to Barry Switzer.

10. God - if I'd read that, I never would have bought their products to begin with.
Yeah!!!! We can't have a company that follows some sort of moral code!!!!!
If the company was following the advice of woodland fairies or Blackie the Ghost Chicken the DUmmies would be celebrating.

Pray, tell . . . where in "Upstate New York?"

Originally, in a tiny little farm town outside of Buffalo.

The other side of the state from me. I work in Albany, and live maybe 16 or so miles north of there.
