I think I may be reading too much CC. At lunch today I found myself automatically going into DU mode during a discussion about the NFL.
I had mentioned to my wife that the Ravens-Bears game had been delayed by bad weather and that a tornado had touched down somewhere in Illinois. She said that she didn’t know that Illinois had tornados to which, without even thinking, I replied, “They didn’t until Bush was president and ruined the environment now there are tornados everywhere.â€
Needless to say, she gave me that look that only wives can give.

"Tomatoes, honey...honest, I meant 'Tomatoes.'"

You forgot to mention that 0bama is trying to fix it so we have no bad weather but them evil repukes keep stopping him because he's black.
-
I know husbands and the DU mode...mine does it constantly...
he just loves to see how pissed off I can get before he stops.
He also loves to put NPR radio on and it drives me nuts listening to it.
He is one of the most conservative men I have ever met but sure can play the part of a DUmmie when called for.
-
It's Bush's fault she looked at you that way. If only she had free access to taxpayer funded birth control, then she would have found your joke funny.
-
If the idiots on CNN said it was because of glow-ball warming, thousands of DUmmies would be up in arms, despite the fact there have been tornadoes recorded in every month of the year, and F4 and F5 tornadoes have been recorded in IL in DECEMBER.
Bottom line, DUmbasses, it happens. Deal.

If it wasn't for the wascally wepublicans owebuma would have already caused the oceans to recede. He would have calmed the raging waters.

In 1988, before we moved here, a tornado destroyed dozens of houses in our red state hell neighborhood on Christmas Eve.
Now we have sirens and warnings and shutdowns any time there is a dark cloud in the sky.

It is like Ohio Players' platforms, Angel's Flight Bells, wide collar paisley shirts with puffed sleeves and purple brimmed hats.
And the Christopher Cross Grammy awards that one year.
WHAT THE HELL WERE WE THINKING?

Tornadoes In The Fall Were Not Even A Remote Thought In Illinois Where I Grew Up.
When I grew up in central Illinois in the 1950's we had a lot of tornado like weather in the spring. And we had summer storms that were severe electrical storms. But tornado weather was usually over by June. And there was never never any thoughts of tornado weather after September.
Something has obviously changed with the latest weather in the Midwest today. As a matter of fact I do not remember winter tornadoes anywhere in the US in the depth of winter. And I was a weather watcher and even kept my own log books because I wanted to be a meteorologist. And I watched the weather every night.
If this activity is not due to warming I do not know what is. How denial can still be so common is just amazing.

Well, my husband is a Democrat (yeah, yeah, I know), but even he'll ask what the DUmmies are ragging on about and shake his head in disbelief. If he thinks they're loons, they're even loonier.

Obama promised that the seas would stop rising, and the planet would heal. But TMN didn't read the whole bill. On page 41,836 it clearly states that there will be fees and penalties based on voting records.

I think it is all the windmills sucking the energy out of the planet's natural wind patterns. I have just as much real proof of that as do the AGW people. In fact, I have more because I have not fudged any numbers. I just don't have them but i haven't lied.... misspoke...ahh unkept promised.

"Toots" has that look down to a science and I believe she is teaching it to others of her ilk! Especially my daughters and granddaughters! I keep seein' it out of the corner of my eye when walking by.
It's a ****in' female conspiracy!

Allo, the genetic code for "that look" is on the second X chromosome. You know, the one that us men got as a "Y chromosome." ::)
