What would a job interview for a teller position at a head shop be like?
There is a head shop a few stores down from a restaurant we frequent and it occurred to me the other day that the job interview for getting a job there must be rather strange. About the only job at which admitting to doing drugs is MORE likely to get you the job. What kind of questions would they ask you? I suppose when it comes down to it they are looking for much the same as many other places, someone down to earth and agreeable who makes the customers want to buy. But they would want someone knowledgeable about their drug paraphernalia too.

1. Are you, or have you ever been, a marijuana smoker?

4. Lol, no actually I never have, why?...
Odd considering I live in a pot crazy city and have nothing against it. The real reason I haven't is I've never socialised enough to be in a position to try it.

6. Not sure, but I bet the interviewer would look at his or her desk afterward and wonder
what happened to all the candy that was in the (just-filled) jar on the desk ...

2. Oh man that would be so far out!
there are plenty of folks waiting in line for that job I am sure, do you have to take a drug test I wonder?
So nice to set foot in the lounge again. And they said it wouldn't last!

3. Welcome back.
Who were you when you were here before?

Yep. That is one hell of a career path. Start out at a pot shop selling drugs. I bet the next regular job interviewer would have a field day with that.

Me, if I owned a pot shop or a candy store I would want workers knowledgeable about the product but not users. Cuts down on worker theft if the worker has no reason to steal.

About the only job I can imagine that Locut0s would have the aptitude and suitability for would be a towel boy at a brothel. It wouldn't require too much intelligence and they wouldn't have to worry about a eunuch like him pestering the ladies.
