Rove's Strategy for MI: Depress Muslim Turnout for Obama
Advertisements [?]That's why the MSM has been all over this Muslim Snub meme. They actually believe McCain has a shot at Michigan. Michigan has a LARGE muslim and arab population. If they can create some tension between the Muslim community and Obama, and depress turnout (they don't have to vote McCain, they just need to stay home), then McCain can carry the state.
That's what this is about.

1. It was Keith Ellison, a Democrat, that went public with this not Rove. nm

3. Ellison did, but the MSM isn't exactly running with this because of anything
some representative said or does. They are getting marching orders from the RW on this.

4. I don't doubt it's psyops; it's too damn coordinated. Two stories in the NYT
yesterday alone?
I guess we know that Michigan is BIG TIME in play...

7. The RW really thinks MI is big time in play. MI needs to be a TOP priority
I can imagine the shenanigans they will try to pull there. I hope Obama has lots and lots of people on the ground there and does excessive voter registration. Luckily we have a Democratic Governor there.

What?
We've all been told:
(a) the primitives think Barry "Goldwater" Obama can win without the votes of a significant number of supporters of the worthier Democrat candidate.
(b) the primitives think Barry "Goldwater" Obama can win without the votes of those pro-Second Amendment.
(c) the primitives think Barry "Goldwater" Obama can win without the southern states.
(d) the primitives think Barry "Goldwater" Obama can win without the bigot vote.
(e) the primitives think Barry "Goldwater" Obama can win without the "fundie" vote.
(f) the primitives think Barry "Goldwater" Obama can win without the pro-life vote.
We've all been told this by the primitives; there's been lots and lots of bonfires on these subjects.
So now the primitives think Barry "Goldwater" Obama CAN'T win without Michigan?
Why did the thinking of the primitives suddenly take this unexpected twist?

That's one of the reasons why Michigan is in play. An incompetent governor presiding over what amounts to a one-state recession. :thatsright: :rotf:

I think what the primitive's hinting at, but not willing to say it explicitly, is "Luckily we have a Democratic [sic] Governor.....because it makes it easier for the big-city political machines to create 'votes' out of thin air."

:o Would that be an example of "speaking truth to power?"
