Title: Well I be danged....it's snowing in S.C..

Started about an hour ago and is coming down like crazy. It's sticking to cars and such but that's about it for right now. 32 degrees and dropping, we'll see what we got in the morning. I don't foresee any problems with it.

My good and valued friend John's probably sitting on the front porch, shirtless, sipping on a dauqiri, watching the pretty bikinied girls surf on the beach.

Don't forget the northwest "upcountry" with the Blue Ridge Mountains. They get snow.

I'm 150 miles from there....40 miles south of Charlotte N.C.. It's 1:00 am and I just looked outside....nothing on the drive or highway...maybe an inch on the truck...and looks like a very heavy frost on the grass....should be gone by lunch.

It snowed a couple times the 11 months I worked in SC.  I thought it was lovely.  The health care workers from Caribbean islands enjoyed it, too.  We made snow angels, had snowball fights, made a couple small snowmen.  The locals, however, were not impressed and thought we were loony.

We had the second earliest recorded snowfall last night here, earliest was Nov 11, 1891. I am a few hours east of JohnnyReb. Good thing it stopped snowing before the ground froze, or our little town would have been shutdown for at least a day.
