Have you noticed more fuzzy-faced men lately?
That could be because there are several nationwide projects in November such as "No Shave November" and "Movember," which encourage men to grow mustaches and beards to raise awareness and money for cancer research.
Beards and mustaches have also become more mainstream and trendy, especially among hipsters and 20 to 30-year-olds.
Or maybe guys have just caught on to the research.

2. I like men with beards, as long as they're neatly trimmed.
They look more virile to me. Someone remind me to shave, today.
My husband wears a beard and mustache, and I love how he looks!
I'm glad to hear that facial hair reduces the risk of skin cancer, too.
Response to Omaha Steve (Original post)Surprising number of comments. Most in fun.

Then, to keep her from further noticing something I didn't want her to see--she's after all a well-bred, respectable woman--maintaining the eye-contact, I rubbed my chin and apologized that I looked a little scruffy, as I hadn't shaved for four days, being ill with a bad cold.

I will never understand how anyone can allow themselves to look like Doug.
A little soap, a razor, and a haircut, and he could pass for a normal person.
That applies in spades to the Bellevue fat guy.
Shaving off that absurd neck beard, getting a nice tapered haircut with white sidewalls, cleaning up, and dressing neat would make his life so much easier.
Sloppy fat guys can make themselves look sort of presentable.
The late Jackie Gleason, Gov. Chris Christie...well, I can't think of others, but they're out there, make an effort to look reasonably normal and are rewarded.
There's no excuse for looking like Steve Dawes or Doug Bulna.
It must have bothered the weeping neckbeard when he checked in on the daily saga of Doug Bulna, to find his own appalling appearance compared to that of Doug:
In all honesty, Steve looks worse than Doug Bulna.
Doug looks like a natural, easy, sloppy fat guy. He's looked like shit all his life and is resigned to it.
Steve is an even sloppier fat guy, but he looks uncomfortable, overstuffed, pressurized, like something may explode at any second.
I've had a beard since the mid-eighties.Do NOT, let Calpig see that. Serious.

In most cases facial hair is the white man's equivalent to dreadlocks and saggy pants - a way of saying "screw you" to the majority.
From that perspective, maybe it serves a purpose.

.....Also last night he was wearing the same tux without the jacket at a charity event handing out programs for the movie to be shown that night.
Whoa.
The big guy's moonlighting as a theater usher?
I've never made it a habit to go to movies, but now I wonder.
I've had a goat for 25+/- yearsSay what?? :sheep:
Say what?? :sheep:
The devil made me do that. :lmao:
I've had a goat for 25+/- years for two reasons.
1. I look devilishly handsome.
2. Saves me 5-6 minutes everyday not shaving the chin area over and over.
