I VOTED! Although I admit, I don't know who the hell I voted for. (http://www.democraticunderground.com/10023984091)

Small town. Super small town. I was not even going to vote because I've been working on other regional elections from AZ to NJ, NY, and beyond. I just hadn't followed our municipal elections closely, as there aren't too many issues facing us. But I swerved into the parking lot at the town hall, couldn't even find a parking place. It was packed at 3:30 in the afternoon! So I showed my ID and got my ballot and voted ONLY for Democrats. There were a lot of races for such a small town, but in those in which there was only a Repub running, I left them blank. We don't have a straight ticket choice here, so I went through the ballot and found the Democrats and voted for them. It was a two page ballot, even.

Is this an example of how "informed voters" cast ballots?

He voted even though he didn't know what for.
Sounds vaguely familiar.

He voted even though he didn't know what for.
Sounds vaguely familiar.

And yet, we're the ones that vote against our own interests.  :whatever:

Sounds vaguely familiar.

You have to elect them to find out who they are.

I got the impression from this, that he was looking for a pat on the head and maybe a Milkbone.  Otherwise, what's the point?

Doesn't it, and the primitives wonder why no one listens to them.

All of DU did the same thing in the 2008 presidential election which showed how ignorant they are. By 2012 they knew him and still voted for him which showed how stupid they are.

It's the same way I vote, except for repukes.

Who knows, or wants to know, the details of every dogcatcher race?

I just vote for the repuke.

Here in red state hell, we never have an unopposed democrat.

Most of the repukes are unopposed.

In state elections we have a lot of elected judges.  I didn't used to vote for them because I'm clueless about them.  I did find a conservative website that grades them on a scale of 1-5.  Now I go by that.

Conservatives as a group, have little contact or experience with courts and judges.
For that reason, we need to rely on others for input.

Ooopsy-dooops.

With 36% of the votes in:

CUCCINELLI 50.78%
MCAULIFFE 41.91%

I wonder if this is going to hold.  Too early to tell.
