I went through the drive-thru at Hardee’s this morning to get my wife and I a breakfast biscuit. When I got to the window the lady working the cash register took my money and said that if I’d pull up they’d bring my order out to me in just a minute. True to her word, in just a few moments a young lady walked up to my window, handed me my order, and told me to have a blessed day.
So I immediately asked if she meant a blessed day in a religious sense or a blessed day in a non-religious sort of way. She quickly said that she meant it in a non-religious sort of way so I informed her that God was the source of blessings and that the current administration was made up of Satan’s minions.
The young lady immediately broke down and said that she had never stopped to think about it that way. She apologized and said that she did mean it in a religious way and that from that day forward she would always vote Republican.
A cop, who I had not noticed as he was hiding behind a bush, jumped up and gave the girl a thumbs-up.
Also, a family of four who had just walked out of the restaurant and heard our exchange began applauding loudly. After congratulating the young employee for seeing the light, they shook my hand and thanked me for revealing the truth to them. They then walked on to their car and began peeling off the “Hope and Change†sticker that was on their bumper.
I drove off after a job well done.
Of course all that really happened after she told me to have a blessed day was that I told her thanks and wished her the same, but if there’s one thing that I’ve learned from DU it is to never let the truth get in the way of a story.

Would have been better if a DUmmie had been converted and spit on the ground at the mention of Obama's name.

There was a well-endowed woman there that appeared as if she wanted to flash some nudity, but she would have had to drop the peach cobbler that she was carrying in each hand to remove her shirt.

This is a no bouncy.
I was at a doctors office for a check up due to an injury I received at work. The woman in charge of the OSHA claim came into the room and when the doctor left as I was dressing came over to look at my tat.
She with a big smile asked me about my Tat. just for curiosity. Was this a religious symbol, did I believe that Jesus was my savior. Just for her own curiosity she said.
I had never been jacked up like this in my life and did not know what to say, she was in charge of my paperwork and medical care from the company insurance. Nice appearing woman middle aged and in charge of my immediate future.
My mind was screaming --danger, danger, there was something in her voice that gave me the crawlies, don't know why, just one of those feelings one sometimes gets for no reason from a stranger .
Dressed and back in her office to sign some papers I noticed she was now calling me by my full name. She kept her back to me as much as she could, I fled the office. Driving home I began to remember there are some Christians that believe in calling the devil out by full name and turn their back on those they feel are evil.
This was the first fanatical religious person I ever met, all so normal looking and harmless, it has been years since then but I cannot forget how ordinary she seemed until she asked if I believed in Jesus.
