I don't really know who Russell Brand is but I got sucked into the story over the weekend and one of my favorite podcasts posted this video commentary.

saw that nutcase on TV once....he was supposed to be funny....he wasn't. Maybe if he had discussed politics that one time I saw him on TV, I would have thought he was funny.

What it comes down to is both the BBC guy and Russell Brand are arguing for government. The whole thing is contrived. It's an updated version of the PC vs Mac guy commercials.  Which ever on you choose you're still getting a computer.

If you're young and hip you love egalitarian socialism, if you are older and established you appreciate the more refined form of government control.

Either way they are soliciting for agreements that are better not agreed to.
