Why aren't we talking about this?

If we don't, the narrative will be controlled by ACA's opponents.

1. Your employer and your insurance company have always been able to take away

the policy you have now.

They do so every enrollment period.

The only difference is that now they can blame the ACA when they do so.

28. Employers changed policies or dropped coverage altogether by decreasing

employee hours or status.
That is because of Obamacare!

59. He was wrong? Is it possible for the POTUS to be incorrect?

Which is fine by me since all humans make mistakes. I have no doubt when he was briefed on this issue, he was told people will not be forced to change their policy. I cannot see him going out on stage and making a public announcement THAT factually incorrect (especially if he knew beforehand).

The opponents of ACA are welcome to say whatever they want to, I've noticed most people don't care and are still signing up or looking over the exchanges. A lot of them former Republicans.

Let them cry over a great public works project that separates work from health...it will be their parties death cry.
Obama is not wrong, he planned the whole thing.

No. If we learned anything from DU from 2001-2008, it's that the President is never wrong, or mistaken, or uninformed. He is LYING.

In any case, what is that stupid jug-eared motherf***er doing flapping his ignorant community organizing gums if he doesn't understand his own law?

Nobody understood it.  They just pass laws.  That's the only way to fund out what is in them.

We are talking about this.  Most of the Nation is talking about this.  You DUmbphucks choose to stick your heads in the sand and ignore the conversation or make excuses for your false god.

NBC has now reported that Obama specifically took away the clause in the cACA by executive fiat and regulation.

I want to repeat to all. The new leftist evil democrat talking point is you are being transitioned to a better policy and of course a better policy will be much more expensive.  THIS IS NOT TRUE. The Bronze and Silver plans will have much higher deductibles. Much higher co-pays. Most importantly will have worse coverage. The Bronze plan will be 60/40 after you get past your doubled deductible. The Silver plan will be 80/20 after you get past your doubled deductible. The most catastrophic plan you could buy was 80/20 after deductible.

So that proves the plans are worse.

Next it will be you get more healthcare. That is false as well. 90% of the participants will not need drug and alcohol treatment, need maternity care, or need to have dental and eye care for children. Half will not need mammograms or female contraception.

The lies are going to be BIG, FAST, and FURIOUS. Fight back.

Chocolate rations have been increased from 10 grams to 5 grams. All praise Big Brother Barry!

@2:15. All this is by design, DUmbasses. He was TRYING to destroy the free market and private health insurance. I can keep my policy? My ****ing ass. Obama is an authoritarian, hellbent on destroying (http://www.americanthinker.com/2009/06/obama_the_african_colonial.html) this nation, and you ****ers are dancing in the streets, welcoming the incoming destruction. After all, Marxism only failed because an anointed one, chosen by you to lead rule you, hasn't tried it yet. You DUmbasses truly do worship the bastard and are the farthest thing from what our founders ever envisioned would be considered patriots. Patriots you are not. You're the "citizens" that have been paid a bag full of silver, waiting for the town behind the walls to go to sleep so you can lower the drawbridge for the awaiting conquerors. Refusing to admit you're all Marxists is your problem. We see it clearly.

Why aren't we talking about this?

The entire internet is talking about this.  You DUmmies should break out of the bubble now and then, see what people are saying.  Or don't.  Stay ignorant.

Each thread out there appears to have two assigned OFA goons, to spout the talking points supplied by Jukin up there.  They're quickly overwhelmed.

Next forest fire, to just add to this:  Family Glitch.

46. Isn't part of it too that the better substitute can be a lot more expensive? I can't imagine

Obama purposely trying to trick people - but this doesn't not make him look good at all , IMHO. sometimes I think he picked people to run things that he liked more than people who were expert at what they do.

Laura, he did trick people on purpose.  Get your head out of your ass.

31. HHS seems to be stepping into pile of shit. That agency wrote the REG on
minimum standards and made it much narrower than Congress intended. The President should have spent more time examining what he was speaking on. I agree that the right will take advantage of this gift to them.

Damn right.

ProSense said that Think Progress debunked the whole thing.   :lmao:   Right.  I have no patience to go wading over there.

Let me just say that Pretzel Warrior is driving me nuts.  He keeps saying the same thing over and over.  "Their insurance was shit!  It was junk!  It was a con!"  Nuclear Unicorn and another one tell him he's being an elitist prick.

39. It's that kind of elitist contempt for ordinary people that can cause real problems down the road

Those 'morons' and 'low intelligence' people are American citizens who vote and used to be championed by the Democratic Party. You'd better pray that this works when it rolls out -- and works in the eyes of the *majority* of the American people, not just a minority who obtain a special advantage.

It won't.

Nuclear told him the same thing, that these people were happy with their insurance, no matter what *he* may think.

ETA link.  It's a pretty good read.  Some of those guys are such complete assholes, and they're all accusing each other of being teahadists.  BFDU said that ACA would split the DUmp asunder, and he was right.
