BIG news! (DCCC) (http://www.democraticunderground.com/10023943356)
From email.
Our campaign is building serious momentum.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee just added us to its Jumpstart program, reserved for top-tier candidates across the country!
This news comes after a poll showed us WINNING against Congressman Lee Terry. I'm ready to go work for you -- for Nebraska -- but we've got a big task ahead of us.
Thursday is a critical fundraising deadline for our campaign -- it's the first deadline since the government shutdown, so we need to put up a big showing to prove that our campaign is in a position to win. Can I count on your support?
Chip in $3 or whatever you can right now to help us build the grassroots foundation we'll need to win in 2014 >>
I couldn't be more thrilled with all of your support so far -- it means a ton to me. But challenging the Washington establishment is never easy.
If you're like me and truly want to change things up in Washington, then I need your help right now.
Please, pitch in $3 or whatever you can right now to help us build this campaign:

Thanks for your support,
Pete

Too bad it isn't the neckbeard running.

A poll of OS and eight of his friends doesn't count. Besides, the election is over a year away--eternity in politics.

$3 huh....I've always said it, "Democrats are cheap."

Well, the Republican incumbent only won by a small margin in 2012. It's NE-2, which includes Omaha and virtually every moonbat in the state outside of Lincoln, as coach has explained.
If a democrat follows the tried-and-true strategy of mini-tacos at Bear's Bar he might have a chance in NE-2, but this time he'll be carrying the burden of the ACA catastrophe.
NE-1 is Lincoln, plus all the decent and civilized suburbs of Omaha, which smother the NU moonbats.
NE-3 is the other 80% of the state, where coyotes greatly outnumber people, but the people are all decent and civilized, following the example laid down by franksolich.

Basically, that's it.
Terry has never won by any comfortable margin, but he's always won.
He reminds me a great deal of the late U.S. Senator Hugh Scott (R-Pennsylvania), circa 1959-1977, and one-time Republican leader in that body, who was always "almost" beaten, but never beaten.

I'm sure that's right, but you have to take notice when you're warned by the Orifice of Omaha.
