(AP) Lincoln police arrest a 49-year-old man accused of firing a crossbow at his neighbor. Officer Katie Flood said the man got into an argument with his 25-year-old neighbor about the breed of the neighbor's dog Saturday evening. The owner said the dog was a pit bull, but older man said it was a Labrador.

After the argument, police say the older man went into his apartment and returned with a black crossbow.

Officiers said the man shot the crossbow when his neighbor tried to extend his hand to apologize.

Police were called, and the man was arrested on suspicion of making terrostic threats and other violations.

Oh my.

I went to the Lincoln newspaper, to see if it in fact was anyone I know.

Nope, no one I know.

I used to live in the neighborhood, at 2817 Holdrege Street, near the guy's address.

The Lincoln newpaper has a fuller story, and a photograph of the crossbowist.

The crossbowist incidentally appears to be wheelchair-bound.

Maybe a shotgun would have been better.....?
